Abstract
Although a considerable number of vegetation surveys of individual Dutch fen areas have been reported, up till now the only comprehensive survey of Dutch terrestrializing fen vegetation has been given in the synopsis of Dutch plant communities by Westhoff & Den Held (1969). The description of the non-woody vegetation types in terrestrializing fen mires presented here aims at a more detailed survey of the types of vegetation in the successive stages of terrestrialization. Keywords
