Abstract
The uptake of choline by L5178Y lymphoblasts occurs by a carrier mechanism and is an active process. Transport of nitrogen mustard and its hydrolyzed derivative is mediated by this same carrier. This finding is an example of drug transport by a carrier whose primary function is transport of a naturally occurring substrate.Keywords
