The collaborative profile of social networks enhances the interaction and dialogue between the subjects, promoting a language close to a conversation and transforming the school context with the youth developing a collaborative spirit. The investigation reports a case study of a closed group on Facebook that aims to stimulate the participation of students in scientific events, generate an open communication channel, quick access to information and material sharing. In the data analysis of this research, we used Facebook group records and answers of a Google drive questionnaire. The analysis showed that Facebook contributed to the information access, motivated and stimulated the participation of students in scientific events, showing to be a interactive and collaborative tool that can be used in educational practices. We improved the analysis using cloud of words generated on the website Wordle.
