Abstract
Aggression is one of the major issues within custodial settings. Moreover, aggression has been shown to be a major diagnostic variable in attempting to determine the "delinquency career" of adolescents. The assessment and treatment suggestions of aggression need to take high priority in custodial settings. The studies reported describe a shortened variation of a well known scale for measuring self-control in children. The scale is specifically designed as both an assessment device and an outcome measure for treatment programs. This study reports satisfactory reliability and validity for the scale.
