Abstract
A novel non-contacting instrumentation system for obtaining cross-sectional images of conductive and ferrous material is described. The image space is energised with a parallel magnetic field and the distortion created by objects is detected by sensing coils. The backprojection method is used for reconstruction. Initial results are presented.Keywords
