Abstract
A primate model was developed for testing the response of a normal structure to an abnormal environment. Facial asymmetry after experimental maxillary displacement did not extend to the zygoma. Significant changes occurred in the development of the maxilla, the nasal cavity, and the position and occlusion of the dentition. Keywords
