Abstract
The proper corrections for non-parallel flow to the eigenvalues for small disturbances on a nearly parallel shear flow have been determined through a perturbation about the parallel flow solutions. The resulting shifts in the neutral stability curves have been calculated for the Blasius boundary layer, for the two-dimensional jet, and for the two-dimensional flat-plate wake. Keywords
