Use of orthogonal collocation method in optimal control problems

Abstract
A computational method for optimal control problems is proposed. The method, which is based on the polynomial expansions of the state and adjoint variables, is efficient and can be applied to a variety of optimal control problems. The usefulness of the proposed method is demonstrated with several examples.Keywords
