Abstract
Arcanobacterium pyogenes is a rare cause of infection in humans, mostly related to living in rural areas and to contacts with animals. We describe a case of fatal Arcanobacterium pyogenes endocarditis, confirmed by DNA sequencing, in a patient without typical epidemiological exposure.Keywords
