Abstract
In recent years, the peacebuilding and development fields have witnessed an upsurge of interest in the concept and practice of hybridity (Boege et. al 2009; Hoglund and Orjuela 2012). This special issue seeks to provide a state-of-the-art account of the utility of the concept, with case studies illustrating how hybridity can be used as a lens through which to understand peacebuilding and development contexts. Keywords
