Abstract
A review is given of recent developments related to the h-index and h-type indices. Advantages and disadvantages of the h-index are listed. Properties of generalizations of the h-index are shown. Woeginger’s axiomatic approach to the study of impact indicators is highlighted as the most exciting development in recent months.Keywords
