Abstract
Mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPKs) are components of signaling pathways that control how cells respond to their environment. There are many different MAPKs and to keep pathways distinct, particular MAPKs must bind their ligands with high specificity. In their Perspective, Weston et al. discuss the structural basis for the signaling specificity of MAPKs.Keywords
