Vitamin B12 Assay in Body Fluids using Euglena gracilis

Abstract
A technic of assay of body fluids using Euglena gracilis var. bacillaris is descr. It is the most sensitive method available. Human plasma, pleural, ascitic, seminal, bursa and joint fluid, and gastric juice contained a similar amt. of vit. B12 as in normal human serum. Amino acids, vits. and antibiotics did not replace vit. B12.Keywords
