Fractional-Order control of voltage source inverter (VSI) using Bode's ideal transfer function

Abstract
Fractional-Order (FO) control is applied in this paper in the area of power electronics for voltage source inverter (VSI). The reference system is Bode's ideal transfer function. Modified Oustaloup's Recursive Approximation (ORA) is used to approximate FO integrator. Integer-Order (IO) controller and FO controller comparison is carried out here and it gives result like, the FO controller has a better behavior than the classical IO controller.
