Abstract
1H-Benzotriazole reacts with an aldehyde and thiourea or an N-substituted thiourea to form Mannich-type condensation products which on treatment with sodium borohydride or benzylmagnesium chloride yield N,N′-disubstituted thioureas or carbodiimides, respectively. Keywords
