Abstract
Cytokine-mediated inflammatory processes may play a role in neurodegenerative disorders and the development of cognitive impairment in the elderly. Consistent with this hypothesis, observational studies have shown an association between the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and a lower risk of Alzheimer disease (AD).1This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
