Abstract
Based on the robust least squares wave frequency estimator, a real-time algorithm for long-term prediction of ship rolling motion is proposed for fire control applications. Simulation results using actual ship motion measurements show that the proposed scheme does not only make the prediction problem of non-stationary ship motion tractable but also enables real-time computation with good accuracy. Keywords
