Study of hadronicJ/ψdecays involvingφandωproduction

Abstract

Hadronic decays of the J/ψ involving φ and ω production are investigated: J/ψ→φ${\pi }^{+}$ ${\pi }^{\mathrm{-}}$, φ$K^{+}$ $K^{\mathrm{-}}$, φ$K_S^0$ $K_S^0$, ω$K^{+}$ $K^{\mathrm{-}}$, ω$K_S^0$ $K_S^0$, φ$K^{\mathrm{*}}$K¯, φpp¯. Except φ$K^{\mathrm{*}}$K¯ and φpp¯, these three-body final states are dominated by quasi-two-body productions. A detailed study of the $f_0$(975) production is presented. The analysis shows evidence for the $f_2$(1720) being associated to both ω and φ. An upper limit is given for the φη(1440) branching ratio.
