Abstract
DEEP MIDDLE cerebral artery infarction is common and its neurologic picture is dominated by the consequences of internal capsule involvement. Although pure internal capsule infarction has been well documented,1-4 infarction limited to the putamen–globus pallidus is poorly recognized.Keywords
