Abstract
We would like to thank our colleagues for their insightful comments on our recent paper ‘Does oncological outcome differ between restorative (rLAR) and non‐restorative low anterior resection (n‐rLAR) in patients with primary rectal cancer?’ from the Dutch snapshot research group [1]. In this study we found that n‐rLAR was associated with poorer oncological outcomes compared with n‐rLAR . We welcome the opportunity to reflect upon and respond to the methodological concerns highlighted by M. Kazi and colleagues. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
