Abstract:
Indonesia's foreign debt has increased dramatically in the last decade both government and private debt, and has taken up a portion of Indonesia's state budget (APBN). The amount of principal payments and debt interest is almost double the Indonesian development budget. For this reason, an effort is needed to pay it off, that is, every country needs foreign exchange reserves as a means of foreign payment, export activities will increase the country's foreign exchange reserves, which in turn can strengthen economic fundamentals. One of the government's efforts to obtain foreign exchange from abroad is by making loans to other countries (foreign debt) and exporting the results of natural resources and non-natural resources abroad. From the results of this foreign exchange can be used to increase state development funds. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: Multiple linear regression analysis can be used to predict Indonesia's foreign debt by analyzing foreign exchange reserves against Indonesia's export value; There is a large (significant) partial effect between foreign exchange reserves and foreign debt; There is no significant (partial) significant effect between the value of exports on foreign debt.

This study aims to determine and analyze the potential of leading sectors in West Java Province. The areas that are the focus of the study are in areas that are included in the fast-forward and fast-growing region based on the Klassen typology. The Location Quotient (LQ) method will be applied to determine the potential of leading sectors in these regions. This study also uses the shift-share analysis method to determine the factors that drive growth in these areas. This study utilizes secondary data in the form of district and city GRDP values in the province of West Java in the period 2012-2016. Data processing using cluster analysis gives the results that there are five regions that are categorized as fast-growing and fast-growing regions, namely Bogor Regency, Purwakarta Regency, Karawang Regency, Bandung City, and Cimahi City. While processing using the LQ method gives the results that in the five regions there are a number of sectors which are the basis or potential sectors to be developed. Furthermore, from the shift-share analysis, the results show that some leading sectors have a role in supporting regional economic growth through both comparative and competitive advantages owned by these basic sectors. In general, this study concludes that economic growth in fast-growing and fast-growing regions in the province of West Java is supported by the existence of base sectors that have comparative and competitive advantages, most of which are in the industrial and service sectors..

Abstract:
Waqf is one of the ways of distributing welfare to the community. The continuity of the benefits of waqf is made possible by the enactment of the types of productive waqf established to support religious activities, compensation, education, and public facilities. Implementation of waqf in Indonesia especially productive waqf still faces various obstacles. Various waqf practices in other countries that are considered successful in managing productive waqf need to be a lesson for Indonesia, one of which is the application of productive waqf in Kuwait. This study is a theoretical study of productive waqf as well as a case study of the application of productive waqf in Kuwait which is considered successful. The development of waqf in Kuwait has passed a long stage (seven stages) from waqf management by the community (pre-1921 AD) until the SekjendWakaf (pre-1993 M). The types of waqf in Kuwait are also very diverse such as health endowments, water, public, investment endowments and so on. Kuwait has also implemented very good waqf governance with the establishment of the Awqaf Public Foundation (KAPF) in 1993. The existence of the KAPF is very influential in the development of waqf in Kuwait. The increase in waqf income for 16 years has tripled. Likewise, with the development of capital assets, there is a very significant increase.
