Abstract:
One of the most important aspects of learning is the strategy. Basically every educational institution has diverse strategies in delivering learning materials. As a typical educational institution, Pesantren has a unique learning strategy. This study aims to uncover the learning strategies of speaking skills in the al-Ansar boarding school and the learning of speaking skills based on the theory of behaviourism. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study research method. Researchers obtained data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was done through classification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on Milles and Huberman's theories. The results of this study are as follwos. 1) Strategies for teaching speaking skills are: Shobah al-lughah, Tabligh, language festival competitions and application of substantive conversation, language gam., 2) Strategies for teaching speaking skills in behaviourism theory are Shobah al-lughah, Tabligh and language festival competitions. The findings generated in this study were the learning of speaking skills using behaviourism theory gradually affect the students' speaking skills.

Abstract:
Learning difficulties can be interpreted as obstacles in the learning process to achieve learning goals. This obstacle can be caused by several factors. This research study is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to find out the factors that cause learning difficulties of students in class XI on nahwu shorof lesson. The study used a total sampling in which, all students of class XI with a total of 40 students were taken. Data collection techniques used research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The instrument validity to be used were content validity and construct validity, while the Cronbach alpha formula was used to test the reliability. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the factors of learning difficulties experienced by students in the nahwu-shorof subject in terms of internal factors were the cognitive abilities and student learning habits, while in terms of external factors are the school factor.The cognitive ability factor is limited to the level of students' understanding of the materials being studied. In the study habits of students seen from the routine of learning and repeating the materials that have been explained by the teacher. While the school factor is seen in terms of the atmosphere of learning in schools and learning facilities.

Abstract:
Collocations usage among translation master students in the University of Algiers II seems rather irregular when it comes to the transfer of English into Arabic. This paper examines the extent and causes of this irregularity through a descriptive field study conducted among students’ assessments. It also inquires the means to consolidate translation data towards their mother tongue first, and to spontaneously and correctly make them use collocations when translating into Arabic. This paper aims at suggesting long-term solutions for undergraduate translators’ culture widening for a future style improvement. In a nutshell, it is admitted that in order to preserve Arabic from weakness and to universally spread its culture, more consideration is to be offered to translation since it is a solid channel for a daily usage of collocations. Purposefully and consequently then, many outstanding books on collocations proved efficient when read by students in a limited period of time; the assessments, full of collocations usage, showed how fruitful the books were and how they bettered the students’ style as far as collocations are concerned.

Abstract:
Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Islamic Boarding School is an Islamic boarding school in South Kalimantan. It is famous for Kitab Kuning (The Classical Books) and it focuses on function of language as system, which means that Arabic is an instrument to understand the classical books/kitab kuning. This Islamic boarding school has been synchronized with Public Islamic High School standard today. The purpose of this study is to know the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and monitoring of learning Arabic language based on Sears’s theory in Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Islamic High School for women in Amuntai, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. This study is classified as case study which becomes part of qualitative research. The management of Arabic learning in Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Islamic Boarding School covers: (1)Planning includes; (a) schools use short-term planning (b) lesson plan/RPP and syllabus which refer to School- Based Curriculum (KTSP). (2) Organization includes; (a) preliminary activities, (b) core activities, and (c) final activities. The core activities include; exploration, elaboration and confirmation (b) only some teachers use methods and media in learning. (3) Directing includes; (a) the principal gives directions to the teachers (b) the teachers give directions to the students by motivating them to learn Arabic. (4) Coordinating includes; internal coordination (5) Controling includes evaluation of student learning outcomes and evaluation of Arabic learning process.

Abstract:
This study aims to show that Instagram, which has only been popular for posting photos or videos, is very effective as a medium of al-Kitabah learning and can increase the ability of the students in al-Kitabah Maharah. In addition, it shows positive and negative responses of students to the use of Instagram as al kitabah maharah learning media. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and data and information were collected by using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that Instagram is one of the social media that strongly supports and motivates students to create and innovate in writing without being limited to place and time. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was obtained a very positive response from 21 students that all students agreed with the use of Instagram as a medium for learning al-Kitabah maharah. Students give positive responses because they are flexible, not limited in time, learning is more varied and students are more active and creative. As for the negative responses of students needing an internet connection, teachers do not control directly. Researchers hope that with this study, the teachers can use the Instagram application as a medium for learning Arabic, so students can wisely utilize social media.

Abstract:
This study aims to know the Qawa'id learning process from the perspective of Cognitive Theory at the Raudhatut Thalibin Islamic boarding school in the village of Tayur Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU) of South Kalimantan, Indonesia and to know the Qawa'id learning method with the Cognitive Theory perspective in the boarding school. This type of study is descriptive qualitative one. Data are collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The collected data was analyzed by means of the interactive model (interactive model) of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study reveal that the steps of Qowaid learning in the perspective of cognitive theory are as follows. (1) The teacher explains in advance the material to be taught using the deductive method. (2) The teacher gives examples of what has been explained before. (3) The teacher asks the students to memorize qowaid and vocabulary contained in the sentences or text they are learning. (4) The teacher will not move from one rule to another before the students really understand one rule first. The Qowaid learning methods used in the perspective of cognitive theory, namely; (1) the Nahw wa Tarjamah Method (Grammar Translation), (2) the deductive method, (3) the question and answer method, (4) and the bahtsul masa'il method.

Abstract:
The use of media, especially in learning Arabic in Indonesia has been proven to be significant. Many studies prioritize the use of certain media in the learning process so that it can overcome the problems of learning Arabic. This descriptive qualitative study discusses the use of interactive multimedia in learning Arabic at IAIN Palangka Raya. This study aims to explore interactive multimedia used by PBA lecturers to overcome the problems of learning Arabic. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study are: first, in terms of time and place of implementation, namely IAIN Palangka Raya e-learning, Arabic online and Bahasaarab312.gnomio.com. Second, viewed from the materials being taught, multimedia PowerPoint was used which included cartoon story maker media, Arabic Online, camtasia, active presenter, e-book learning, YouTube, kine master, pollagon, Arabee. Third, seen from the needs of students, Macromedia / Adobe Flash was relevant. The Arabic learning problems that can be overcome with the use of interactive multimedia are as follows. 1) In terms of linguistics, using interactive multimedia, lecturers become easier in demonstrating teaching or learning materials to 2) in terms of practical (non-linguistic) using multimedia interactive, PBA lecturers can attract the students ‘interests and attention who lack of motivation in learning Arabic.

Abstract:
This study aims to explore phonological variations between the Arabic vocabulary of fusha and Moroccan Arabic. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature approach in expressing phenomena that develop, especially in the aspect of phonological variation between Arabic fusha and Moroccan Arabic. The results of this study reveal that there are several phonological variations in the Arabic vocabulary of Fusha with Moroccan Arabic namely: (1) Sound reinforcement such as changes in low vowel sound / a / into moderate vowel sound / e /, (2) Lattice like weakening high vowel sounds / u / become a low vowel sound / a /, (3) Monophonization such as the merging of vowel sounds / a / and / u / into a single vowel sound / o /, (4) Dating which is divided into three categories such as anheresis (dating that occurs in some vocabulary such as aħmaru, azraqu, and asˤfaru become Ħmar, zraq, and sˤfar by removing the vowel / a / at the beginning of a word), syncope (some dating of vowel sounds in the middle such as / a /, vowel / u / and / a /, and vowel / i /, and apokope (The dating of the sound at the end such as the word ʃamsun becomes ʃams, and the word ħamma: mun becomes ħamma: m, the word baħrun becomes baħr by removing the sound / un / at the end of the word).

Abstract:
Learning Arabic has become the inseparable part of the curriculum of Islamic universities in Indonesia. Its presence is expected to improve the students’ quality in Islamic universities. However, in fact, the Arabic language remains a frightening specter for them that is difficult to deal with. This is also still experienced by Muhammadiyah Islamic University of Sinjai while it has obligated its students to learn Arabic. The main problem stems from the lack of material suitable to the students’ ability. Compiling the teaching materials by the Hiwar approach hopefully can solve the problem. This research is based on 3 problems, the developmental process, the characteristic and the effectiveness of the teaching material. It uses the model of Borg and Gall consisting of 10 steps. During the expert validity this book is considered to be worth for use on higher learning institute. Its objectives have been proven effective after having trials on the students of the study program of shariah economic bank using the t formula.

Abstract:
This study aims to know UIN Antasari students’ common mistakes in writing Arabic annexation system (idhafat). The sample is 90 students who join in the subject of tarkib tawabi. It takes qualitative approach with error analysis method. The data are collected from the documentation of students’ syntax workbook which is then analyzed by syntactic error analysis. The result of the study shows that the common mistakes in writing Arabic annexation vary from the mistake in mudhaf, mudhaf ilaih, multiple idhafat, and that in meaning of idhafat. These errors are caused by inadequate duration of learning Arabic in the secondary school level, the teacher that focuses more on explaining syntax theory, and the school’s orientation in raising students’ speaking skill.
