The research method used is the desk research with an industrial archeology approach and the concept of cultural values and cultural landscapes. The results obtained indicate that the cultural landscape of the Cinyiruan quinine plantation industry has a variety of land uses with cultural relics of various functions. The cultural values contained are the Sundanese traditional cultural values and colonial cultural values which relate to the local wisdom and western modern technology. These two cultural values are traceable in the layout and architecture of residential buildings as well as the land use of the garden area as a subsistence economic system and the plantations as a modern commercial Western economic system.

Abstract:
Fighting sheep is very popular in Priangan, especially in the Garut region. The popularity of fighting sheep can't be separated from the history that lies behind it. This research is intended to answer the questions about the emergence of Garut sheep and sheep fighting show at the beginning of its development. The method used in this research is the historical method by utilizing sources of books and newspapers produced during the colonial period. The main finding of this study is that the emergence of the Garut sheep breed was motivated by the import of sheep initiated by K.F. Holle for wool cultivation purposes. The crossbreeding of imported sheep and local sheep has resulted in the type of fighting sheep which is now commonly referred to as Garut sheep. The fighting sheep show itself emerged from the indigenous people's habit of fighting animals which later developed into an entertainment that was often held at every major event. The conclusion of this study is that Garut sheep as fighting sheep emerged from an 'accidental habits' and then became popular since the late 19th century. On the other hand, it has also drawn criticism from the perspective of Europeans who are concerned about the essence of the fighting sheep.

Abstract:
This event was based on the background of competition between political groups after the recognition of Indonesian sovereignty on December 27, 1949, namely the pro-integration groups into the Republik of Indonesia through the West Kalimantan National Committee (KNKB), with those who wanted to maintain the status of the Special Region of West Kalimantan (DIKB) within the framework of a systemized Federal RIS. This competition resulted in a political crisis that affected the entire province. The republicans in the KNKB demanden the DIKB Government that West Kalimantan be part of the Republic of Indonesia. This desire was responded coldly, even though the DIKB figures rejected the entry of the TNI. This sparked demonstration that led to the arrest of republicans and a general strike which resulted in a political crisis. The political crisis subsided after the arrival of the RIS and DPR-RIS Commissioners. The arrest of Sultan Hamid II on April 5 1950 paralyzed DIKB and accelerated joining the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract:
Kata Kunci: Kesultanan Banten, Perdagangan Lada, Kosmopolitan, Jalur Rempah, Keberagaman Abstract A cosmopolitan city is a part or node of transnational networks that form by economic and trade activities, which then creates various interactions and exchanges of culture, ideas, and various human activities. The cosmopolitan life in Banten has given a unique color to the history of the Nusantara Spice Route. Tolerance in diversity and plurality that was creating in port cities along the coastline in the Indonesia archipelago during the heyday of the Spice Route era is a high-and-mighty value in seeing Indonesia today. This study will see what kind of diversity that was creating in Banten?, and how they could mutually maintain this diversity to make Banten became a fortune cosmopolitan port at that time? Anthony Reid said that Banten was an example of a city that has succeeded in combining the diversity that lives and lives in it. This condition, according to Reid, was caused by the success of these cities in attracting foreign traders and fortune people to depend on them. In some ways, both are integrated into a dominant elite and create cultural pluralism that makes trade possible. The port city of Banten has become an open trading city visited by various traders from various countries in the archipelago and Asia. Banten, in Emily Erikson's view, was a city that was built and managed to become an open trading city to various nations. Abstract:
This research is motivated by two reasons, namely the lack of the presence of characters with Indonesian identities and the marginalization of female characters in superhero comics. One of the comics that is quite representative of presenting Indonesia's cultural traditions and local wisdom is Luh Ayu Manik Mas, which contains the Balinese culture. This paper discusses how Luh Ayu Manik Mas has represented the Balinese women through her character as a superhero. The research is carried out using the content analysis method on the four comic editions of Luh Ayu Manik Mas. The results of this study have shown that Luh Ayu Manik Mas was designed to appear to be a manifestation of local identities, such as a source of strength from the Tri Datu bracelet, and the belief in the Tri Hita Karana. Tri Datu is believed to be the source of life force and Tri Hita Karana is the principle of life that ensures harmony in every aspect of life. Religion and culture are two different things. Luh Ayu Manik Mas, who represents the figure of a Balinese female superhero who is glorified by the teachings of Hinduism as the dominant religion in Bali, is in contrast to Balinese culture which is still subject to the patriarchal system.
