Abstract:
Indonesia memiliki potensi sumberdaya alam yang sangat melimpah tetapi keberadaannya belum mampu dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Kelurahan Ngadirgo Mijen Semarang memiliki potensi tanaman rambutan yang melimpah tetapi ironisnya masih banyak masyarakat yang hidup dibawah garis kemiskinan. Tujuan dari IbM ini meningkatkan taraf kehidupan masyarakat Ngadirgo melalui optimalisasi pemanfaatan tanaman rambutan.Program IbM meliputi brainstorming enterpreneurship dan strategi mengoptimalisasi potensi daerah khususnya tanaman rambutan; pengenalan tentang rambutan dan alternatif pemanfaatannya; pengenalan tentang variasi pupuk dan dampak pupuk kimia terhadap lingkungan; pelatihan pembuatan sirup rambutan; serta pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik cair berbahan dasar limbah tanaman rambutan dengan aktivator MOL (Mikro Organisme Lokal). Hasil yang dicapai adalah terbukanya wacana tentang strategi peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat dengan mengoptimalkan potensi lokal tanaman rambutan sebagai produk sirup dan pupuk organik cair yang lebih murah dan ramah lingkunganKata kunci : Rambutan, Enterpreneurship, Pupuk Organik Cair, Sirup

Abstract:
?é?á It is fact, there are still a few of elementary teachers write an article in newspapers or present their article in regional / nasional seminar. Consequently, they will face obstacles in increasing their grade. Based on the survey, we found that many elementary teachers in Semarang still have no idea in how to make a good article. Also, there is no Journal for elementary teachers as a media for them in delivering their articles in order to have some credits. Based on that case, team of community service try to give them some trainings; how to design a classroom research, and how to make a good article. By having these, they are expected to be able to find their topic and design their classroom research, then they will make its article that can be sent to the newspapers or journal. Automatically, they will have some credits to raise their grade and they will be prosperous. The trainings were given to 37 elementary teachers of KKG Jendral Sudirman / teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó group of Jendral Sudirman. We found that actually there is one teacher who has experience in conducting a classroom research, but still there are many teachers who are less in making a research and article. Abstract:
Parents have a vital role for growth and development of a teenager. Parents as the first actor to be an example for a teenager, so it must equip children with knowledge of the personality and the science of religion that later children can socialize in the community. Juvenile delinquency is happening is not the fault of the parents themselves, but also lies in the surrounding environment that can affect the behavior of adolescent youth. The role of parents and the environment is important for teens to form personal the better. In dealing with teenagers there are some things you should always keep in mind, namely that the soul is a soul-filled adolescent turmoil. Internal and external conditions are equally turbulent adolescence that causes more prone than other stages of mental development of adolescents. To reduce collisions between turbulence and to provide opportunities for youth to develop themselves in a more optimal, need to be created nearby environmental conditions as stable as possible, especially the family environment.Key Words: Adolescents, Personal, Moral HonorAbstrakOrang tua memiliki peran yang sangat penting terhadap tumbuh kembang seorang remaja. Orang tua sebagai aktor pertama yang menjadi contoh bagi seorang remaja, sehingga harus membekali anak dengan ilmu kepribadian dan ilmu agama supaya kelak anak dapat bersosialisasi dimasyarakat. Kenakalan remaja yang terjadi bukanlah kesalahan dari orang tua sendiri, melainkan juga terletak pada lingkungan disekitar remaja yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku remaja. Peran orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar sangatlah penting untuk membentuk pribadi remaja agar menjadi lebih baik. Dalam menghadapi remaja ada beberapa hal yang harus selalu diingat, yaitu bahwa jiwa remaja adalah jiwa yang penuh gejolak. Kondisi intern dan ekstern yang sama-sama bergejolak inilah yang menyebabkan masa remaja lebih rawan daripada tahap-tahap lain perkembangan jiwa remaja. Untuk mengurangi benturan antargejolak itu dan untuk memberi kesempatan agar remaja dapat mengembangkan dirinya secara lebih optimal, perlu diciptakan kondisi lingkungan terdekat yang sestabil mungkin, khususnya lingkungan keluarga.Kata Kunci: Remaja, Pribadi, Akhlak Mulia

Abstract:
The main purpose of this program (IbM) is to provide training to junior and senior high school teachers of Tugu Soeharto Semarang on how to arrange Learning Program Plan (RPP) based on the latest curriculum, Curriculum 2013. It was a training held on every Saturday in January 25-February 15, 2014 at SMP/SMA Tugu Soeharto Semarang which was attended by 25 participants comprising teachers of junior high / senior high school of Tugu Soeharto and several schools in the vicinity. The method used in this training are lectures, discussion, practice, discussion and evaluation. Lectures include the introduction of Curriculum 2013, the Approach in Education (Teaching Approach), Syllabus and RPP, and Authentic Assessment (Authentic Assessment). This training also includes improvements to the product as an effort that teachers are able to produce lesson plans based on Curriculum 2013 and the right in the hope of learning the teacher can set up the device in carrying out teaching and learning activities appropriately. Keywords: Curriculum 2013, RPP, Training ?é?á ?é?á Abstrak Tujuan utama dari kegiatan Ipteks bagi Masayarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru SMP/SMA Tugu Soeharto Semarang mengenai bagaimana menyusun Rencana Program Pembelajaran (RPP) berdasarkan Kurikulum terbaru yaitu Kurikulum 2013. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan setiap hari Sabtu di tanggal 25 Januari-15 Pebruari 2014 bertempat di SMP/SMA Tugu Soeharto Semarang oleh Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris IKIP PGRI Semarang yang diikuti oleh 25 peserta yang terdiri dari guru-guru SMP/SMA Tugu Soeharto dan beberapa sekolah di sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, praktek, diskusi dan evaluasi. Ceramah meliputi Pengenalan Kurikulum 2013, Pendekatan dalam Pembelajaran (Teaching Approach), Silabus dan RPP, dan Penilaian Autentik (Authentic Assessment). Abstract:
Abstrak Berdasarkan PP No.1 tahun 2010 tentang Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan disebutkan bahwa guru wajib melakukan pengembangan profesinya. Diantaranya adalah dengan melakukan karya tulis ilmiah dan publikasi ilmiah.Selanjutnya berdasarkan peraturan tersebut juga disebutkan bahwa untuk kenaikan pangkat seorang guru dari Golongan III b ke berikutnya seorang guru harus memiliki kredit poin yang berhubungan dengan pengembangan diri dan karya tulis ilmiah. Salah satu upaya melakukan penelitian yang berkenaan dengan pembelajaran di kelas adalah dengan melakukan PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas). Di kota Semarang terdapat 89 SMK negeri dan swasta.Pada kenyataaannya. sebagian besar guru masih mengalami kesulitan untuk melakukan PTK?é?á yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan yang mendasar?é?á tentang PTK. Sedangkan permasalahan lain adalah?é?á pemahaman guru dan sekolah terhadap penelitian yang masih bervariasi sehingga mempengaruhi dalam penerapannya di lapangan. Terlebih untuk bidang studi bahasa Inggris di SMK, sebagian besar guru masih merasa kesulitan dalam melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas yang berkaitan dengan bidang studi yang diampunya. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut di atas,maka dipandang perlu adanya penataran, pelatihan, pembimbingan, dan pendampingan tentang PTK. Oleh karena itu, tim Pengabdian pada Masyarakat IKIP PGRI Semarang berencana membatu para guru dalam melaksanakan PTK di lapangan. Keluaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah berupa laporan pelaksanaan PTK serta artikel ilmiah yang siap dipublikasikan dalam jurnal penelitian. ?é?á Kata kunci: PTK, guru bahasa Inggris SMK, workshop ?é?á ?é?á Abstract Based on Government Regulation No. 1 of 2010 on Sustainable professional development mentioned that teachers are required to perform their professional development . Among them is to conduct the scientific papers and publications. Then, based on that regulation is also mentioned that for the promotion of a teacher of level III b next to a teacher should have the credit points associated with self-development and scientific papers . One of the efforts to conduct research relating to the learning in the classroom is to do (Classroom Action Research ) . In Semarang, there are 89 vocational high Semarang state and private. In fact, in Semarang there are still most teachers have difficulty to perform PTK (Classroom Action Research ) caused by a lack of fundamental knowledge about it. Meanwhile, another problem is the understanding of teachers still varies so affecting in its application in the field. Especially in the field of English language studies at SMK , most teachers still feel difficulties in classroom action research related to the field of study. In connection with the above , it is seemed necessary to upgrading , training , coaching , and mentoring of PTK . Therefore , a team of Community Service University of PGRI Semarang have petrified teachers in implementing PTK in the field . Abstract:
IbM strengthening the role of the family in shaping the personality of children through seminars and mentoring family problems done in the Village Rejosari Eastern District of Semarang Semarang City. The goal is to equip every individual in the community to understand the role of each in family life and society in order to create a harmonious life. The method used is to provide education in the form of seminars and mentoring the problems faced by the family. Participants are Rejosari village community includes parents, teens, men and women. The seminar took place on February 23, 2014, while assisting held in March 2014 in a week. Abstract:
Gapura bukan semata-mata bangunan fisik yang diartikan sebagai pintu gerbang, tanda batas kota, kabupaten, desa atau kampung. Menurut tradisi, gapura merupakan wujud ungkapan selamat datang yang familiar, semanak, welcome. ?é?áGapura?é?á mewakili?é?á keramahan ?é?ádan ?é?árasa ?é?áhormat?é?á tuan ?é?árumah ?é?ákepada setiap orang atau tamu yang datang.Umumnya gapura dibangun?é?á ?é?áuntuk memperingati Hari Kemerdekaan. Gapura telah menjadi simbol gotong royong, keakraban dan kebersamaan warga masyarakat. Yang menumbuhkan kerinduan setiap tahunnya khususnya menjelang peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan. Dengan ?é?ámembangun?é?á atau ?é?ámerenovasi ?é?ágapura,?é?á nilai-nilai ?é?ákebersamaan dan semangat gotong royong , diperbaharui dalam hati setiap warga. Kegiatan merenovasi, mengecat ulang, membuat atau membangun gapura menjadi lebih menarik ketika pihak-pihak swasta ikut terlibat dengan cara mengadakan lomba mempercantik gapura. Dalam rangka untuk menyambut hari Kemerdekaan ke-70, maka perlu diadakan perbaikan bando GAPURA di wilayah kelurahan Siwalan Kecamatan Gayamsari?é?á ?é?áKota Semarang. Oleh sebab itu kami selaku Akademisi dari Universitas PGRI Semarang melakukan kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dengan bentuk Pengabdian Masyarakat untuk program Perbaikan Bando Gapura di Jl. Abstract:
Kerupuk Samiler cukup dihargai oleh nilai gizi masyarakat rendah karena hanya terbuat dari singkong. Proses produksi tidak higienis karena dicetak menggunakan bak plastik warna warni. Pengeringan hanya mengandalkan sinar matahari. Hal ini menyebabkan tidak ada penghasilan tetap. Pemasaran terbatas pada daerah sekitar produksi dan disimpan di toko atau dijual keliling. Tujuan dari program IbM ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah konseling, pelatihan, dan mentoring dalam produksi kerupuk samiler asli dan kerupuk samiler fortifikasi duri ikan yang higienis dan melakukan pelatihan dan mentoring manajemen produksi dan manajemen pemasaran. Hasil dari program ini adalah berdasarkan uji kadar kalsium dalam adonan kerupuk samiler yang diberi duri ikan setinggi 51.28 mg/100g dibandingkan dengan adonan kerupuk yang tidak diberi duri ikan yaitu 9.88 mg/100 g. Keterampilan dan pengetahuan pembuat kerupuk samiler tentang manajemen produksi dan manajemen pemasaran meningkat. Telah diproduksi kerupuk samiler asli dan fortifikasi kalsium duri bandeng. Kedua produk ini diproses dan dikemas secara higienis. Pengeringan kerupuk di musim hujan dapat diatasi menggunakan mesin pengering kerupuk dengan bahan bakar LPG. Kesimpulan dari program IbM adalah pembuat kerupuk samiler meningkatkan pendapatan dan penghasilan tetap. ?é?á Kata Kunci: Kerupuk Samiler, Fortifikasi Kalsium, Duri Bandeng

Abstract:
Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pendampingan pengelolaan laboratorium fisika SMA bagi guru-guru fisika SMA Kabupaten Demak. Kegiatan ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi nyata laboratorium yang dimiliki dan dimanfaatkan sekolah, memberikan pendampingan guna mendorong pemanfaatan laboratorium secara maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran, dan mengupayakan peningkatan kemampuan guru fisika dalam mengatasi permasalahan pengembangan laboratorium. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan kepada guru-guru MGMP fisika SMA Kabupaten Demak berjumlah 22 orang. Metode kegiatan ini berupa kegiatan pendampingan. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pretest, posttest dan produk rancangan alat peraga guru fisika. Hasil kegiatan ini memberikan gambaran bahwa guru-guru fisika memiliki kemampuan mendesain laboratorium fisika dan fasilitasnya, kemampuan membuat perencanaan pengelolaan laboratorium, kemampuan menata tempat dan peralatan laboratorium, kemampuan merawat laboratorium dan kemampuan manajemen penyimpanan alat dan bahan di laboratorium. Rancangan alat peraga yang dihasilkan adalah miniatur pompa hidrolik, pipa venturi, alat peraga tekanan hidrostatis, alarm deteksi gempa, dan model hidram. Abstract:
Nutritional status is a person's nutritional state, in this case can be detected by means of anthropometry is to measure the size of the body, such as body weight (BW), height (TB), the circle of the upper arm (LLA). This activity is usually done by all people but must be trained first. At this time of devotion, Tim IKIP PGRI want to follow up the IBM program, which is a kindergarten teacher guidance in understanding the nutritional status of children under five by providing training in nutritional measurement, manufacturing gauges nutrition, simulation, and frequently asked questions. Targets in service activities include kindergarten teachers all Sukorejo Village, District Gunungpati, the city, include: Earth TK 44, TK An-Nur, and Kindergarten ABA 38 with the problems now being faced by them are: 1) lack of knowledge in identifying the nutritional status of children under five are visually, 2) lack of available gauges nutritional status, 3) lack of skill make gauge nutritional status, 4) non optimal use of nutrition among children under five gauges. Achievements of these faculty development activities in the village kindergarten Sukorejo able to understand the nutritional status of children under five with a good and able to measure nutritional status, and be able to apply the measure nutritional status (anthropometry) correctly. In addition, the service team is also providing a stimulus to improve the nutritional status in the Village Sukorejo Kindergarten students, for students who assessed their nutritional status is still lacking.Key Words: Nutritional Status, Childhood and Kindergarten, AnthropometryAbstrakStatus gizi adalah keadaan gizi seseorang, dalam hal ini dapat dideteksi dengan cara antropometri yaitu dengan mengukur ukuran tubuh, misalnya berat badan (BB), tinggi badan (TB), lingkaran lengan atas (LLA). Kegiatan ini biasa dilakukan oleh semua orang tetapi harus dilatih terlebih dahulu. Tim IKIP PGRI ingin menindaklanjuti program pembinaan pengajar TK dalam memahami status gizi anak balita dengan memberikan pelatihan pengukuran gizi, pembuatan alat pengukur gizi, simulasi, dan tanya jawab. Sasaran kegiatan ini meliputi guru-guru TK se-Kelurahan Sukorejo, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, meliputi: TK Pertiwi 44, TK An-Nur, dan TK ABA 38 dengan permasalahan yang kini tengah dihadapi oleh di antaranya adalah: 1) kurangnya pengetahuan dalam mengidentifikasi status gizi anak balita secara visual; 2) kurang tersedianya alat pengukur status gizi; 3) kurangnya keterampilan membuat alat pengukur status gizi; 4) belum optimalnya penggunaan alat pengukur gizi anak balita. Hasil yang telah dicapai dari kegiatan pembinaan ini pengajar TK di kelurahan Sukorejo mampu memahami status gizi anak balita dengan baik dan mampu membuat alat ukur status gizi, serta mampu mengaplikasikan alat ukur status gizi (antropometri) dengan benar. Selain itu, tim pengabdian juga memberikan bantuan stimulus untuk meningkatkan status gizi siswa TK di Kelurahan Sukorejo, untuk siswa yang dinilai masih kurang status gizinya.Kata Kunci: Status Gizi, Anak Balita dan TK, Antropometri

Abstract:
Demoralization occured in school life. Teachers as the person incharge of the students?óÔé¼Ôäó education in school must find the way out to demolish the demoralization. Character Education needs to be developed in school to maintain students?óÔé¼Ôäó behaviour. Character Building is important to be developed in the learning process. The development of Character Building is integrated into subject matters in elementary schools. Teachers should be involved in the character education for students. In running the process of learning, instructional materials are needed. Syllabus and lesson plan are parts of the instructional materials. Teachers are not only responsible for educating students in school but also responsible for building students?óÔé¼Ôäó characters through the material they deliver. Character Buildings are integrated in the syllabus and lesson plan in order that the students can apply the moral values from the material they learn in their daily lifes. The syllabus and lesson plan improvement with all the potency can be used for supporting the effectivity of character education implementation which is becoming the prior attention. Teachers should know more about students personality and what students need in the learning process. Teachers can improve their skills in making syllabus and lesson plans based character education by joining this workshop. Teachers need to be ?óÔé¼?ôan up-date?óÔé¼?Ø person in giving materials and delivering the moral values to build the students?óÔé¼Ôäó character. Through the program of repetition drills and monitoring, teachers can learn more about syllabus based character education to fulfill the students?óÔé¼Ôäó need. Syllabus based character education has to be used for imprasing the character education in order for gaining teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó and students?óÔé¼Ôäó creativity.Key words: Syllabus, Character Buildings.

Abstract:
AbstrakIptek bagi masyarakat (IbM) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi masyarakat Jawa di era modern khususnya generasi muda yang tidak menguasai bahasa Jawa. Bahasa Jawa dengan tataran unggah-unguhnya menjadi alasan untuk tidak digunakan karena dianggap sulit. Kenyataan seperti ini disebabkan adanya keberbatasan pemahaman tentang hakikat bahasa Jawa yang merupakan bagian integral kebudayaan bangsa Indonesia. Bahasa Jawa tumbuh sebagai identitas diri dengan tetap mempertahankan nilai-nilai luhur yang terkandung di dalamnya. Untuk itu, kalau tidak segera dilakukan suatu upaya pembenahan dan pembinaan dalam penerapan unggah-ungguh bahasa Jawa di lingkungan masyarakat khususnya terhadap ibu-ibu rumah tangga sebagai pewaris budaya kepada generasinya, dikhawatirkan bahasa Jawa berkembang tidak sesuai dengan tatanannya. Yang lebih memprihatinkan lagi, bahasa Jawa sebagai wujud budaya masyarakat Jawa akan musnah. Oleh karena itu, sebagai wujud kepedulian dalam upaya pelestarian budaya dan pembangunan karakter terhadap generasi bangsa maka pemberdayaan terhadap ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam peran sertanya membelajarkan penerapan unggah-ungguh bahasa Jawa di lingkungan keluarga perlu sekali dilakukan. Iptek bagi masyarakat (IbM) ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga dalam pembelajaran ungguh-ungguh bahasa Jawa di lingkungan keluarga. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu tim penggerak PKK di kecamatan Tembalang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, tanya jawab dan simulasi yang diawali dengan tes awal dan diakhiri dengan tes akhir. Dengan materi dan buku panduan praktis penerapan unggah-ungguh bahasa Jawa yang telah disampaikan, diharapkan ibu-ibu tim penggerak PKK mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan akan pentingnya pembelajaran unggah-ungguh bahasa Jawa dalam upaya pembentukan karakter anak, tumbuh kesadarannya dalam rangka mempertahankan dan melestarikan budaya Jawa.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan karakter, unggah-ungguh bahasa Jawa, ibu rumah tangga

Students need to have a skill in how they analysis the leterature that usually they find it in their daily life. This training had several steps; first, the introduction of literature. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh adanya kebutuhan belajar yang dihadapi oleh setiap individu dalam kehidupannya.PAUD mendasari jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya Perkembangan secara optimal selama masa usia dini memiliki dampak terhadap pengembangan kemampuan untuk berbuat dan belajar pada masa-masa berikutnya. Masa yang penting bagi anak usia dini merupakan masa yang penting (golden age) yang hanya datang satu kali dan tidak dapat diulang, karena perkembangan intelektual terjadi sangat pesat pada tahun-tahun awal kehidupannya. Abstract:
There are still a few handouts created by the teachers. In fact, teachers feel lazy to make a handout to succeed their teaching and learning process, especially civic teachers who are still low in understanding how to make and design their own handout. A handout is an instrument that teachers supposed to writing it. By writing a handout, teacher can explore his material based on the problems faced in the class. That is way; the Team thought that we need to give them something to train them in writing their own teaching handout. This community service was given to civic teachers of senior high school who has the important role in tranfering knowledge about civic subject. This activity had some sessions, there were; lecturing, discussion, questions answer and feedback. Abstract:
Being able to organize the fashion including makeup of the elementary students in their show is the aim of this community service. In exploring the students?óÔé¼Ôäó talent, the school needs to have a show for them like dancing show. This program was held at elementary schools in Gayamsari Semarang. Team of community service found that there are still less skill in arranging the fashion and makeup for their own students before they perform on the stage. Team taught that the elementary teachers need to equip this skill in order to prepare and help them in dressing fashion and makeup of the show. In this program also train them how to choose a wardrobe/ proper fashion, how to dress the performer, and how to mix and match the fashion and its makeup, etc. The training was held in February 19th 2011 and it was attended by 25 participants. This report describes how physic teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó competency can be strengthening by exploring their writing capability through a workshop conducted by team of community service. This training was given to KKG / teachers?óÔé¼Ôäó group of Satriyo Utomo Ngawen Blora in 2010. The materials are how to find the topic, how to write a proposal of classroom research, and how to arrange a report of classroom action research, then how to make it into an article. By having these skills, it is expected that they will be able to arrange their own action research and article in order to raise their grade and prosperity. Team also gives them a full advice for those who want to make a proposal, a report and an article until they enable make their own classroom research by themselves. ?é?á A natural intelligence is a new method in the teaching and learning process in as the steps of indication to associate the needed subtance. It has a purpose to build the children?óÔé¼Ôäós intelligence to be multintellegence. This method is used to make an effective teaching learning process which deals with the students?óÔé¼Ôäó potential quality to get the maximal output in long term. This concept is actually presented to the early age learners in learning Bahasa Indonesia to know how their mother tongue will influence their second language based on the community that they live with. Abstract:
Public speaking is the process of speaking to a group of people in a structured, deliberate manner intended to inform, influence, or entertain the listeners. Speaking in front of audience is not an easy task. It needs a good speaking skill. Fear and nervousness become major problem, especially for beginners who have not experienced in public speaking. This also occurs in members of the Muslim Youth Forum Gayamsari (Foksari). Their speaking competence is inadequate. That is why Public Speaking training activity is held. It is expexted to improve their skills. This activity is performed in two stages, namely the delivery of content and practice. Based on the evaluation, the results obtained are very significant. The existence of enthusiastic participants indicates that they are very interested. Abstract:
Based on the survey, SMP Negeri 4 Semarang had many parrarel classes that it had?é?á 3 hours/week for science subject. To support it, this school was equipped by having a natural sciences labolatory. Actually, the teaching and learning process at the labolatory has been done well, but it needed to develop. Thus, they still need to buy?é?á reagent?é?á in chemistry store or health labolatory to help teaching natural sciences on practical work. Therefore, that chemistry reagent was not in new condition. Chemistry reagent which was kept too long in a storage place would decrease its ?é?áquality, then it will reduce the validation result if it is used for experiment on practical work.?é?á This case was caused by the teachers whose lack of skills in using the practical tools and understanding the function of these tools and materials. Then, we need a management in how to use practical work especially chemistry materials and reagent. The target of this program was natural sciences teachers, labolatory assistants and students of SMP Negeri 4 Semarang. The output result for this program was chemistry reagent and a set of equipment. This training makes the teachers and labolatory assistants more competent in providing chemistry reagent for natural sciences practical work autonomously. Abstract:
Menopause is known as the end of having menstruation. Usually, women feel afraid of being menopause. Generally, the indication of being Menopause starts at the end of 40 ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ 45 years old. Most of women complain and worried about it. Especially for those 50 women who could be classified like; 3 teachers, 1 nurse, 1 bank female officer, and 44 are housewives. And the aged level classification is like; age 40 ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ 50 years old are 25 women, ages 30 ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ 39 are 15 women, ages 20 ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ 29 is 1 woman. This team of community service gives them the training how to overcome if they get the menopause period, and how to protect the frustration of being menopause. This training was done through some discipline of aspects like; through biology, sociology and physiology. The team wants to solve their problems seen from the proper aspect. ?é?á Nowadays PAUD/ pre-school education is really important and urgent to be conducted in any villages or kampongs. Sampangan village Gajah Mungkur Semarang is one the villages that needs to be explored and held by the team of community service. Implementing PAUD is actually already arranged in UU no. 20/ 2003. By that rule, the team try to give some programs such as; socialization and training about what is PAUD, how to be PAUD instructors, how to teach children well. The training was held for 2 days started on 4-5 December 2010 at 08.00 am ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ 04.00 pm, located in?é?á Sampangan Village the office hall, Gajahmungkur Semarang. ?é?áThe main purpose of this program is holding and socializing PAUD in that village in order to have more skills for the instructors in teaching children more interesting. Team used some methods in this training such as giving speech, discussion, simulation, and practice. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan para guru Madrasah Aliyah se-Kota Semarang mampu menyusun Rencara Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) maupun Rencana Perbaikan Pelalaksanaan Pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 dan membuat Lembar Kerja Siswa, serta penilaian autentik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dengan pemberian materi umum, tanyajawab, demonstrasi, pendampingan serta peer teaching. Abstract:
Adolescence is a period of transition from child to adult. In this transition period, teenagers tend to seek a new identity that is different from their previous identity. The process of search of the new identity makes the teens as a side that are vulnerable to crimes. One of them is human trafficking. Therefore, to anticipate the occurrence of human trafficking crime, Team of IKIP PGRI Semarang held counseling about human trafficking for Local Youth Association of Sambiroto Village, Tembalang, Semarang with the main goal is to make teenagers aware of the dangers of human trafficking and how to prevent this crime. The counseling was held on Saturday March 10, 2012 located at RW 1 Sambiroto Village, Tembalang, Semarang. This event was attended by 48 participants. The materials presented in this activity are the Youth and their problem, Human Trafficking (modus operandi and its main victims), and government efforts and how to prevent human trafficking crime. The methods used in this training include lectures, question and answer, and discussion. The resulting outputs are teenagers of Youth of Sambiroto Village are able to be aware of the dangers of human trafficking crime and know the ways to prevent this crime.Key Words: Counseling, Human Trafficking, Local Youth AssociationAbstrakMasa remaja adalah masa transisi dari anak ke dewasa. Dalam masa transisi, remaja cenderung untuk mencari identitas baru yang berbeda dari identitas mereka sebelumnya. Proses pencarian identitas baru membuat para remaja sebagai sisi yang rentan terhadap kejahatan. Salah satunya adalah perdagangan manusia. Karena itu, untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya kejahatan perdagangan manusia, Tim IKIP PGRI Semarang mengadakan konseling tentang perdagangan manusia untuk Asosiasi Pemuda Sambiroto Tembalang, Semarang dengan tujuan utama adalah untuk membuat remaja waspada bahaya perdagangan manusia dan bahgaimana mencegah tindak kejahatan. Konseling diselenggarakan pada Sabtu 10 Maret 2012 berlokasi di RW 1 Sambiroto, Tembalang, Semarang. Acara ini dihadiri oleh 48 peserta. Materi yang disajikan dalam kegiatan ini adalah mengenai remaja dan masalah mereka. Perdagangan manusia (modus operandi dan korban utamanya), upaya pemerintah dan bagaimana mencegah hal ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi ceramah, tanya jawab, dan diskusi. Hasilnya, remaja desa Sambiroto menyadari dan mewaspadi bahaya kejahatan perdagangan manusia dan mengetahui cara untuk mencegah kejahatan ini.Kata Kunci: Konseling, Perdagangan Manusia, Asosiasi Pemuda Lokal

Abstract:
Life-skills education is an educational model that builds hard skills and soft skills in an integrated way. Strengthening students' soft skills will strengthen the hard skills and vice versa. Characterized person is one who is able to keep upright the soft skills and hard skills as an attitude and a behavior in society. Child Friendly Teaching Model (CFTM) is a model that will build life skills to deal with four pillars of the Child Rights Convention, namely non-discrimination, best interests of the child; the rights to life and development; the right be heard and express its views, by strengthening of 3Ps (Provision , Protection, and Participation). This model endorses children to be met early in the child's rights to live, grow, develop and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity. Life skills education can be done through: 1) habituating in the school and classroom environment, 2) manipulating the content of the materials, 3) correcting and reinforcing behavior, and 4) manipulating the learning activities. Learning activities that have a nurturing effect on building character are collective, interactive, cooperative, and reflective learning with respect to children's rights through the strengthening of 3Ps.Key Words: Life Skills, Hard Skills, Soft Skills, Character Education, CFTMAbstrakLife-skills education adalah model pendidikan yang membangun hard skills dan soft skills secara terintegrasi. Penguatan soft skill siswa akan menguatkan hard skillsnya demikian juga sebaliknya. Orang yang berkarakter adalah orang yang mampu menyeimbangkan soft skill dan hard skills dalam bersikap dan berperilaku dalam masyarakatnya. Child Friendly Teaching Model (CFTM) adalah sebuah model pendidikan yang akan membangun kecakapan hidup siswa dengan meperhatikan empat pilar. Konnvensi Hak Anak yaitu non-diskriminasi; kepentingan terbaik bagi anak ; hak untuk hidup dan berkembang; hak untuk mengemukakan pendapat, melalui penguatan 3P (Provision, Protection, dan Participation). Melalui model ini, anak sejak dini diharapkan akan terpenuhi hak hak anak agar dapat hidup, tumbuh, berkembang dan berpartisipasi secara optimal sesuai dengan harkat dan martabat kemanusiaan. Pendidikan kecakapan hidup dapat dilakukan melalui: 1) pembiasaan di lingkungan sekolah dan kelas; 2) memanipulasi isi materi; 3) penguatan dan koreksi perilaku; dan 4) memanipulasi aktifitas pembelajaran. Aktivitas pembelajaran yang mempunyai nurturing effect terhadap pembentukan karakter adalah aktivitas pembelajaran yang bersifat kolektif, interaktif, kooperatif, dan reflektif dengan memperhatikan hak-hak anak melalui penguatan 3P.Kata Kunci: Life Skills, Hard Skills, Soft Skills, Pendidikan Karakter, CFTM

Abstract:
This community service was carried out in form of training for the society in Tlogosari Wetan, Semarang. It was held in the hall of Tlogosari wetan centre. In this training, the participants were given some materials relating to how to get money by making products from all parts of banana trees. The methods which were used in this community service were explaining and question and answer. All the participants were excited and did not go anywhere till the training was over. They asked many questions on how to make products from banana, banana leaves, etc. The result of this training shows that the participants are getting interested in making products from banana trees to increase their income Key words: banana, banana trees, income ?é?á Abstrak: kegiatan IbM ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan bagi masyarakat di tlogosari wetan, semarang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di aula kelurahan tlogosari wetan. Para peserta yang hadir diberikan materi-materi yang berkaitan dengan pemanfaatan pohon pisang untuk menjadi produk-produk yang bisa dipasarkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah penjelasa, dan tanya jawab. Semua peserta sangat tertarik dalam kegiatan ini sehingga acara ini tetap berlangsung dengan baik hingga akhir acara. Para peserta memberikan banyak pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang bagaimana membuat produk olahan dari pisang, daun pisang dan bahkan dari pohonya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa semua peserta sangat tertarik untuk memulai membuat produk-produk olahan dari pisang dan pohonya untuk meningkatkan pendapatan mereka. ?é?á Kata kunci: pisang, pohon pisang, pendapatan

Abstract:
The purpose of this community service is to provide training to early childhood tutor at Muktiharjo Lor Village, District Genuk of Natural Science through natural science experiments that are safe for children. The method used in this training are: (1). Method of approach from the approach used in this program is a lecture and practice in science learning and involve participants directly, (2). Methods of practice, the training is done directly by the tutor early childhood through the experiment-Experiment on Natural Science. The results of this training are: (1) Tutor early childhood is more skilled in providing materials to the students of science, (2) early childhood Tutors are able to do simple science experiments for children, (3) early childhood tutor capable of learning science in a fun package.Key Words: Tutor Early Childhood, Science, Simple Science Experiments for KidsAbstrakTujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada tutor PAUD di Kelurahan Muktiharjo Lor, Kecamatan Genuk tentang Natural Sains melalui percobaan-percobaan natural sains yang aman bagi anak. AbstraksAnak usia dini memiliki masa keemasan, yang pada masa tersebut setiap anak berhak memperoleh pendidikan dan pengajaran dalam rangka pengembangan pribadinya dan tingkat kecerdasannya sesuai dengan minat dan bakatnya. Anak usia dini di bawah 6 tahun dilayani pendidikannya melalui PAUD. Bentuk penyelenggaraan Paud dapat secara formal, informal, maupun nonformal. Paud Nonformal Mekar Sari diselenggarakan secara nonformal dengan guru nonformal dari ibu-ibu PKK. Jumlah guru terbatas, begitu juga dalam kemampuan mengajarnya juga terbatas. Mereka pernah mengikuti pelatihan pembelajaran dengan BCCT, namun dalam hal praktik belum menguasai, maka Tim dari IKIP PGRI Semarang memberikan bantuan berupa pemberian pelatihan dengan model mengajar dengan BCCT. Setelah diberi model para guru yang praktik sesuai dengan kemampuan dan kreativitasnya. Hasil yang diperoleh cukup baik, hanya ada kendala untuk mempersiapkan peralatan yang beragam karena tenaga terbatas. Demikian juga ketika mengelola anak bermain dengan ragam yang banyak pengelolaan terhadap kelompok bermain anak tenaga juga kurang memadai. Penerapan pembelajaran dengan BCCT hanya menggunakan dua pijakan agar persiapan dan pengelolaan terhadap anak-anak dapat teratasi.

Abstract:
Abstrak Keberadaan alat peraga IPA terpadu untuk pembelajaran di SMP adalah mutlak dibutuhkan. Namun alat peraga IPA yang murah dan nyaman masih sangat sulit didapatkan. Terlebih untuk menjelaskan konsep Kimia di SMP. IKIP PGRI Semarang telah membuat alat peraga dari limbah kertas yang ramah lingkungan untuk dapat membantu guru menjelaskan tentang konsep atom, ion dan ?é?ámolekul pada pembelajaran IPA Terpadu di SMP. Berhubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka diadakan kegiatan Ipteks bagi masyarakat ( IbM ), dimana dalam kegiatan ini selain sosialisasi produk ilmiah juga memberikan wacana mengenai inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran IPA Terpadu di SMP. ?é?á Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan adalah pelatihan penggunaan alat peraga tentang struktur atom, praktik penyusunan inovasi pembelajaran IPA Terpadu, penyusunan lesson plan serta peer teaching. Kegiatan yang berlangsung selama dua hari yaitu tanggal 22-23 Mei 2010 ini berjalan lancar dan peserta menghendaki sering diadakan kegiatan yang sejenis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA Terpadu di SMP. Abstract:
Technical assistance in developing a cadre post in early childhood Pudak Payung Banyumanik Semarang is an activity undertaken in order to provide insight into the implementation of early childhood in every RW Pos in order to realize the City/County Eligible Children. City/County deserve a child is the implementation of child rights in three areas, namely: profisi (meeting the needs of children of love), protection (children's rights in obtaining protection), and participation (involvement of children's rights in decision making). Third child rights will not be fulfilled properly, without a beginning and involving parents, teachers or early childhood educators. This activity aims to provide assistance for citizens in the realization of decent child starts from the family environment. The solutions offered are: (1) provide training and mentoring for teachers/teacher/early childhood in a cadre post bintek to achieve professionalism in the field of early childhood, (2) provide the skills for early childhood cadre post about active learning and creative developmentally appropriate early childhood, (3) provide training and skills in the construction of educational games based waste/scrap materials as a source of learning for AUD; (4) provide assistance in conducting the evaluation of early childhood education at the post, and (5) monitoring the implementation of sustainable results. Therefore, with this activity, is expected to citizens, parents, and children receive the same rights in accordance with the ideals that the realization of decent kids program. Key Words: Guidance, Lecturer, and Educator Quality ?é?áAbstrak Bimbingan Teknis dalam mengembangkan Kader Pos Paud di Pudak Payung Banyumanik Semarang adalah sebuah kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam rangka memberikan pemahaman tentang pelaksanaan Pos PAUD di setiap RW dalam rangka mewujudkan Kota/ Kabupaten Layak Anak. Kota/Kabupaten layak anak merupakan implementasi hak-hak anak dalam tiga bidang, yakni: profisi (pemenuhan kebutuhan anak yang berupa kasih sayang), proteksi (hak anak dalam mendapatkan perlindungan), dan partisipasi (hak anak dalam keterlibatan pengambilan keputusan). Ketiga hak anak tersebut, tidak akan terpenuhi dengan baik, tanpa dimulai dan melibatkan orang tua, guru ataupun pendidik PAUD. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pendampingan bagi warga masyarakat dalam merealisasikan kota layak anak dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga. Solusi yang ditawarkan ini adalah: (1) memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi tenaga pengajar/guru/kader Pos PAUD dalam bintek untuk mewujudkan profesionalisme di bidang PAUD; (2) memberikan keterampilan bagi kader Pos PAUD tentang pembelajaran aktif dan kreatif yang sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan AUD; (3) memberikan pelatihan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan alat permainan edukatif berbasis limbah/bahan bekas sebagai sumber belajar bagi AUD; (4) memberikan pendampingan dalam melakukan evaluasi pendidikan di Pos PAUD; dan (5) monitoring hasil pelaksanaan secara berkelanjutan. Dengan kegiatan ini, diharapkan warga masyarakat, orang tua, dan anak memperoleh hak yang sama sesuai dengan cita-cita agar terealisasinya program kota layak anak. Abstract:
?é?á Teaching mathematics for kindergarten and elementary students will be successful if the teaching learning process has a lot of interesting and exciting activities towards to students. Team of community service tries to give them the alternative method in order to make students more interested in joining the lesson. Using visual aids is the best way in transferring knowledge to understand mathematics easily. This training was given to the mathematics teachers of kindergarten and elementary in how to design some materials using animation and how to make interactive tests. The aim of this training was to equip the mathematics teachers to be able to use the CD animation and interactive tests related to their?é?á?é?á mathematic materials. The animation made was about playing and calculating by using PowerPoint Application 2007. Abstract:
Glenn Doman is one of the fascinating learning medias for teaching vocabularies to children. This media fosters the students to memorize the words quickly, in this case is the English words. The children?óÔé¼Ôäós eagerness to learn can be fostered by applying this media of playing and learning in their spare time. Parents can easily adopt the media by making of their own, using the things in their surrounding. The quick children memorization can be occurred by showing the children the letters in the card and then asking the children to utter the words in the cards several times. This media has been acknowledged to Sendangguwo Women Association. Keinginan anak-anak untuk belajar dapat dipupuk dengan menerapkan media bermain dan belajar di waktu luang mereka. Orang tua dapat dengan mudah mengadopsi media dengan membuat media mereka sendiri, menggunakan hal-hal di sekitar mereka. Hafalan anak-anak cepat dapat terjadi dengan menunjukkan anak-anak huruf dalam kartu, kemudian meminta anak mengucapkan kata-kata dalam kartu beberapa kali. Media ini telah diakui untuk Asosiasi Perempuan Sendangguwo.
