Abstract:
The marital dissolution as a traumatic event for children and adolescents might yield different outcomes for each adolescent. Previous studies suggested that adolescents who have high resilience tend to experience positive changes / post- traumatic growth following traumatic events, which results in higher well-being. Hence, it is necessary to conduct research about resilience and post-traumatic growth as predictors of psychological well-being among adolescents who have been through their parents’ marital dissolution. The recent study aims to investigate the relations among those variables. A total of 56 participants (mean age: 15.27; 66.1% female) who lived in Semarang completed three measurements. Correlational, t-test, and path analysis were applied. The result suggests that both resilience and post-traumatic growth significantly and positively correlated toward psychological well-being. Furthermore, post-traumatic growth was found to have a significant partial mediating effect on the relationship between resilience and psychological well-being. These findings suggest that though promoting resilience could improve the psychological well-being of adolescents who have been through their parents’ marital dissolution, clinicians need to ensure that adolescents experience post-traumatic growth through cognitive therapy or counseling sessions to achieve better psychological well-being.

Abstract:
He lack of media information about Schizophrenia in Aceh explains caregivers’ limited understanding of mental disorders. Research on patient discharge systems found that communication media about Schizophrenia were still limited, mostly in the form of posters, flyers, or booklets. There was no specific information about the mental illness needed by the family or caregivers after the patient's discharged from the hospital. This study aims to develop and test a communication medium that can support the recovery process of post-discharge patients from the Mental Health Hospital or Rumah Sakit Jiwa (RSJ) in Aceh. This action research was carried out through focus group discussions (FGDs), interviews, and surveys to health practitioners (mental health nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, community leaders) and family or caregivers of Patients with Schizophrenia (PWS). The study found that messages about Schizophrenia which are developed through a community-based approach are likely to be better accepted than the expert-led information.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The number of violent incidents on women is increasing every year in Indonesia. Some women can survive through traumatic experiences, and it is related to their resilience. Locus of control (LoC) is known to contribute to resilience by enhancing individuals’ self- control and problem-solving behavior. This study aims to determine the role of LoC in trauma resilience among 134 young women (20 – 40 years old) who were exposed to violence (domestic, physical, and sexual) and a minimum of high school education. This study used a quantitative approach with the Locus of Control Scale (α = 0.732, 18 items) and the Trauma Resilience Scale (α = 0.961, 48 items). Two hypotheses are proved in this study: (1) external LoC significantly contributes to trauma resilience (p = .000, R2 = .139), (2) there is a significant difference between violence exposure (<.001), perpetrators (.005), and disclosure to others about their experience of violence (.009). We also found that no participants reported a dominant internal LoC, so future studies are advised to focus on women who were exposed to violence with a more dominant internal LoC.

Abstract:
Love is an indispensable part of human life, and this study specifically investigated the expression of feeling loved. This study aims to explore the association between couples’ feeling loved and different components of wellbeing. We constructed a continuous rating scale to measure couples’ feeling loved and its contribution toward life satisfaction and positive affect. There were 252 couples participated in this study. To examine the measurement’s consistency, this study compared the continuous rating scale of feeling loved with its Likert scale and rating scale counterpart. This study also investigated the role of feeling loved towards the scores of positive affect and life satisfaction as the components of wellbeing. Actor partner interdependence model and linear regression results showed that feeling loved was positively contributed to life satisfaction and positive affect; however, there was no significant interactive effect within partner. This study suggested feeling loved influenced wellbeing, although other predictors may play more prominent roles in determining wellbeing. Keywords: love, feeling loved, wellbeing

Abstract:
Konsumsi kopi orang Indonesia cenderung mengalami peningkatan selama beberapa tahun terakhir.

Abstract:
Creativity is an important aspect in building a good culture of education. Good creativity is shown by the learning outcomes that not only focus on improving cognitive abilities but also on the process of solving a problem either by using divergent or convergent thinking skills. This study was carried out with descriptive quantitative. The study was conducted using two instruments, namely the creativity character scale consisting of 10 items and a set of Verbal Creativity Tests (TKV) consisting of six subtests. The total subjects involved in this study were 470 students who were divided into groups that got the character scale of creativity with the group given the verbal ability test. The results of the study, either through the creativity character scale or verbal creativity tests, show the acquisition of creativity scores which describes that there are still many individuals who have not been optimized in terms of creativity. This becomes a serious concern that can be anticipated by providing information about the importance of creativity. It is also built by creating an instrument that is more effective directly capturing the condition of one's creativity as a whole.

Abstract:
This research aims to explore significant description and factors that influence parenting self efficacy toward blind parents with middle childhood children. This research basically applies phenomenology qualitative method. The subject of this research focuses on two couples of blind parents who live with their middle childhood children. The data collection is conducted by applying the interview and observation. All responses were analysed with Van Kaam phenomenology method which has been modified by Moustakas (1994). Parenting self efficacy of the four informant shows great value on domain nurturance, however it shows less value on domains of discipline and recreation. There are various factors that affect parenting self efficacy on these subjects, such as limitation of eyesight, childhood experience, culture and community, experience with children, cognitive level, sociomarital support, and busy hours. Besides, number of children, economy, and children’ severe disease can also be influential factors of parenting self efficacy.

This research aims to understand the risk perception of Merapi disaster in hazardous community, based on social network centrality. Quantitative approach with psychology scale is used to reveal perceptions of volcanic risk of Merapi, collaborated with name generator to reveal index of social network centrality from 83 people. Result of this research proves that degree, betweeness, closeness, and eigenvector centrality all together are able to predict Merapi’s disaster risk perception, with 17% coefficient determination value (R2). Which means that the research hypothesis is convicted. Separately, betweenness, closeness and eigenvector centrality contribute negatively with perceptions of Merapi volcanic risk. Strong, influential and independent actors consider the potential danger of Merapi as predictable and avoidable. The availability of support, information and access further enhances confidence in the ability of the self to control the impact of Merapi exposure. Conversely, peripheral actors have concerns and more assumptions about the dangers of Merapi, which results from a lack of information, access, support that ultimately reduces his beliefs.

Using electricity and fuel oil might have some negative impact towards the national economy and the environment. Psychological scale for measuring awareness of energy usage has never been tested before. The main purpose of this study is to construct psychological scale for measuring energy usage. The concept of Amburgey (2012) has been used to describe of psychological concern that are perceived threat and desired change. Perceived threat is an evaluation of a person to a problem and desired change is one’s willingness to resolve that problem. Four hundred-thirty eight students were enrolled in this study with a mean of age 21 years old. The results of content item validation show that one item from perceived threat’s subscale has value of Aiken (V) less than .50 and all of items from desired change’s subscale have V value greater than .50. Abstract:
Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship-Based approach (DIR/Floortime) is one of the available interventions focused on increasing the quality of caregiver-child interaction. This study is aimed at investigating the effectiveness of DIR/Floortime to increase the ability to sustain attention on a 4 year-old child with Early Onset Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This is a qualitative research involving two participants, a boy diagnosed with ADHD, and the mother of the boy. This research utilized observation and interview in gathering the data, accompanying the use of observation log for duration of attention and frequency of distractedness specifically designed for this research, Functional Emotional Assessment Scale (FEAS), questionnaire and interview guideline: Observing Child’s Biological Challenge (OCBC), and Sensory Processing – Motor Planning Questionnaire (SPMPQ). The result of this study indicated that the application of DIR/Floortime principles is effective in increasing the ability to sustain attention on a 4 year-old child with Early Onset ADHD, along with the increase of the functional emotional development of both mother and child as shown with the increase of attention span, the decrease of frequency of distractibility, and score increase in the Functional Emotional Assessment Scale (FEAS).
