Un pistrinum en el ager de Olissipo. El complejo artesanal del asentamiento rural de Freiria (Cascais, Portugal).

Abstract

This paper presents the evidences of a productive installation linked to the food crafts. This is located in the rustic part of the rural settlement of Freiria (Santo Domingo de Rana, Cascais). In addition to an architectural and diachronic analysis of the space, all its parts are studied functionally, trying to contribute its significance to the artisanal process to which it is associated. In addition, a chronological approach to this unicum place in the westernmost tip of the province of Lusitania, is proposed.
