Abstract
An 83-year-old female presented with progressive dyspnea, a non-productive cough and right pleural effusion consistent with exudate. Rapid staining and PCR for mycobacteria, culture and cytology were negative. A thoracic computed tomography (CT) scan revealed a solid lesion, 53 mm in diameter, with an epicenter in the right crus of the diaphragm, both diaphragmatic and hepatic infiltration and compression of the inferior vena cava. Keywords
