Modernization of Automotive Air Condition System Using Arduino Controller

Abstract
In the automobile vehicles, the car air conditioning system cannot be used if the engine is not running. Since the device is operated by the car engine, it draws energy from its operation, which can affect the output of the engine. We proposed a new air conditioning circuit system which produce cooling air without engine power when vehicle is in idle state and minimize the usage of petrol/diesel, which achieve zero emission control. This experiment is performed to examine the difference between the fuel consumption and air-conditioning capacity of the automotive air-conditioning system between the conventional compressor and the electric compressor. The battery powers the electric compressor. The options for reducing the AC load on the engine include reducing the thermal load by using advanced glaze window and parked car ventilation, using seat-based temperature control, recirculating air and using alternative cabin cooling systems.
