Reactional squamous hyperplasia of the foreskin

Abstract
Squamous hyperplasia (SH) occurs on the glans of the penis or the foreskin of elderly patients suffering from genital lichen sclerosus and is considered as a precursor of squamous carcinoma of the penis (1,2). We report herein 2 young patients with leucokeratotic lesions of the inner aspect of the foreskin, with a histology typical of SH and, interestingly, lacking any clinical or pathological evidence for associated lichen sclerosus.
