Abstract
Detection of molecular quantitative trait loci (QTL) facilitates mechanistic insights into disease-associated genetic variants. A new study describes BaseQTL, which exploits allele-specific expression to map molecular QTL from sequencing reads even without paired genotype data.Keywords
