Descriptive research design was used in the study employing survey questionnaire. There were 1,648 respondents of the study from one of the Higher Educational Institutions in Cebu City, Philippines taking physical education subject. Results. Based on the survey conducted, results revealed that in spite of the presence of pandemic, university students still engage themselves in different exercise typologies and/or physical activity in varying frequency of execution to stay active. Similarly, household chores are considered as an opportunity in physical activity engagement amidst the pandemic as revealed in the study. Conclusions. Keywords
