Abstract
This study investigates the spread of the Kurdish titles and jargons in the Levant and Egypt in the Ayyubid and the Bahri Mamaluk periods. The study is divided into two parts: The first part is dedicated to the Kurdish titles that were spread in the levant and Egypt including those that are related to Kurdish cities, areas, tribes and families. The second part is dedicated to some Kurdish jargons, idioms and phrases that are used and spread in these countries. This study shows that when Ayyubid Kurdish families took power, many Kurdish tribes and particularly Ayyubid Kurdish families migrated to the areas that were controlled by Ayyubid. Being there, they used many Kurdish jargons, idioms and phrases which were not used before their migration.
