Abstract
Some new asymmetric thioethers 5 and 4-thiazolidinones 6 have been obtained from condensation of 5-formyl-3-(pyridin-4'-yl)-1,2,4-triazino[5,6-b] indole (3) with halogenated aromatic amines followed by addition of thiophenol and/or cycloaddition with thiolactic acids in nonpolar solvents. Structures of the products confirmed by elemental analysis and spectral measurements. The new systems obtained were evaluated as antifungal agents. Keywords
