Abstract
During a survey of microfungi on symptomatic leaves from Castanea mollissima, an interesting species of asexual ascomycetes was found. Based on morphology and phylogenetic analyses of five-loci (ITS, LSU, RPB2, TEF and TUB) proved that these strains represented a new species proposed as Pseudoplagiostoma castaneae. Keywords
