Abstract
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID19) is on the rise in the Kingdom of Jordan. The healthcare system is under pressure to handle the increasing numbers of COVID19 cases while providing routine and emergent care to the population. Telemedicine represents an opportunity to utilize during the pandemic. The feasibility of telemedicine in Jordan has been established in a few small projects over the past two decades. Here, we present a timely proposal for a national telemedicine program to be designed and deployed during the pandemic and sustain after the pandemic. Further, we identify the stakeholders and the steps to design and implement the program.Funding Information
