J Am Coll Surg January. 2021; 232 : 65-72 Abstract Full Text Full Text PDF PubMed Scopus (0) Google Scholar highlights an innovative initiative to improve feedback to residents with a goal to potentially improve performance and technical skills development. The Time Out and Debrief process led to improved satisfaction and educational discussions between trainees and faculty. Compared with the perspective before the initiative, the authors also report that the intervention may have improved preoperative goal setting (p = 0.06), more detailed feedback, and improved technical skills acquisition of the trainees.Keywords
