Ductility in Mild Steel During Tensile Test

Abstract
Correlation is established between the experimental outcome and the theoretical analysis of the ductility variation in a tensile test of standard specimen of Mild Steel. For the hyperboloid distribution pattern of ductility from near zero to full gage length the numerical values can be assigned to the elongation and reduction in area. The’ hyperboloid nature varies for different materials and can, be assigned as a characteristic value of that mat correlation is established between the experimental outcome and the theoretical analysis of the ductility variation in a tensile test of standard specimen of Mild Steel.
