Abstract: Lytic bacteriophage have potential for the treatment of otherwise untreatable extensively antibiotic-resistant bacteria. For Acinetobacter baumannii , most phage exhibit specificity for the type of capsular polysaccharide (CPS) produced on the cell surface.
