Abstract
The main provisions of the socio-psychological concept of prejudice and counteraction to negative psychological phenomena in the politico-legal sphere related to the armed confrontation in the East of Ukraine are presented. The main tendencies of the following phenomena are identified: 1) the increase of the marginalization of society due to the erosion of the national identity; 2) increasing difficulties in building programs for the future; 3) strengthening the interconnection of negative psychological phenomena in the political and legal sphere and criminalization of domestic conflicts; 4) increase of sensitivity to manipulative influence (including mass media) of the aggressor; 5) increasing manipulation by domestic policy agents in order to achieve partial political goals; 6) growth of attitudes that impede integration processes in society; 7) strengthening the combined influence of various internal and external social, political, economic and other factors on the emergence and spread of negative psychological phenomena in the politico-legal sphere. Prevention of negative psychological phenomena should be understood as the development of a set of recommendations, techniques and actions of civil society actors aimed at preventing the manifestation (prophylaxis) and reducing the possible consequences of the impact of these phenomena on social and politico-legal processes. It is proposed to interpret the opposition to the negative psychological phenomena as a set of recommendations, techniques, and actions aimed at stopping, minimizing, and (or) eliminating the consequences of manifesting negative consequences in the politico-legal sphere. The directions of prevention and counteraction of negative psychological phenomena in the politico-legal sphere are presented. The groups of tasks are defined 1) to prevent the consequences of the manifestation of negative psychological phenomena in the politico-legal sphere, 2) to combat them, and 3) to minimize and (or) eliminate them. The vision of the main measures for prevention (prophylaxis) of such phenomena is offered. The resource of civic consent as a mechanism for finding and restoring peace and parity between subjects is identified. Approaches to the use of ideas of civic consent for the construction of the image of the common perspective future and the search for the consent of citizens and groups with different views and beliefs are outlined.
