KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS: MODEL BRAIN-BASED LEARNING DAN DAN MODEL WHOLE BRAIN TEACHING

Abstract
This study aims to determine the differences in critical thingking skills of students who use the Brain-Based Learning model and the Whole Brain Teaching model in fifth grade science learning at SDN 3 Senggreng, Sumberpucung. This type of research is a Pra-Eksperimental Design with The Static Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampel used was all as fifth grade A as experiment class 1 and fifth grade B ad experiment class 2. The research instrument used was a “test” to test students’ critical thinking. The result of data analysis showed that critical thingking skills using the Whole Brain Teaching model were higher than using the Brain-Based Leaning model. Data were obtained using t-test analysis. From the results of the t-test is is known that |t hitung | amoungting to 2,127 and 2,122 greater ttabel (> 2,020), and a significance value of 5% indicates that the value 0,039 and 0,040 (< 0,05), therefore an alternative hypothesis is accepted. There are differences in the Brain-Based Learning model and Whole Brain Teaching model on thingking skill in fifth grade science learning at SDN 3 Senggreng, Sumberpucung. It is hoped that by using this Brain-Based Learning and Whole Brain Teaching model, students will more easily understand the leasosn and can solve problems in daily life.
