Abstract
The article deals with the linguistic methods and means of argumentation in accusatory speech on the example of speeches of A.F. Kony. The purpose of the study is to describe the compositional and syntactic levels of argumentation in monological judicial speech in their relationship. The features of accusatory speech as a speech genre are determined. The linguistic methods and means of argumentation at the compositional and syntactic levels, determined by the genre-speech characteristics of the accusatory speech, are revealed. The conclusion is made about the interdependence of the compositional structure of argumentation in accusatory speeches and the use of certain syntactic argumentative markers. The most frequent methods and means of argumentation used by A.F. Kony for argumentation of the prosecution position are described. These conclusions are based on the analysis of the speeches of A.F. Koni, who is one of the most prominent representatives of the oratory art of the late XIX– early XX century.
