Abstract
The commentary with insightful perspectives by Dr Suzuki et al. [1] provides a precise assessment, including both the strengths and the limitations of our study. Suzuki et al. pointed out that it would be better to consider the effects of some other Parkinson’s disease (PD)-related motor and nonmotor symptoms on sleep quality, such as sleep-disordered breathing and restless legs syndrome. As suggested by Suzuki et al., these conditions are common among patients with PD; therefore, more specific analyses regarding the associations between these conditions and early-morning mobility in these patients are required.
