Abstract
This paper reports the safety confirmation of flight control system of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) with a pair of high-aspect-ratio wings via nonlinear simulations and hardware-in-the-loop simulation tests with various flight conditions (steady winds, gusts, etc.). The UAV successfully had a safe flight in Taiki town in Hokkaido after the safety confirmation process. Keywords
