Escala de Uso Compulsivo de Smartphone: construção e evidências psicométricas

Abstract
A presente pesquisa foi delineada em dois estudos, os quais tiveram como objetivos elaborar (Estudo 1) e validar (Estudo 2) a Escala de Uso Compulsivo de Smartphone (EUCS). Para isso, contou-se com duas amostras: a primeira composta por 235 participantes das cidades de Teresina-PI e Picos-PI, e a segunda por 297 participantes da cidade de Parnaíba-PI. Os resultados apresentados no Estudo 1 foram a nível exploratório, indicando para a EUCS uma solução unifatorial, estrutura essa que foi corroborada no Estudo 2 por meio de uma análise fatorial confirmatória. O fator geral apresentou bons índices de consistência interna nos dois estudos, com valores alfa de 0,89 (Estudo 1) e 0,93 (Estudo 2). Os achados sugerem a adequação psicométrica da EUCS, tendo em vista que deram suporte aos parâmetros psicométricos investigados (validade e precisão) em dois contextos distintos.This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
