Abstract:
The structure of “V + 了 + 有 + NumP” in modern Chinese is quite special and has many syntactic features. This paper examines the syntactic components, syntactic functions and variant forms of the structure “V + 了 + 有 + NumP”, and analyzes its syntactic features in depth. The structure “V + 了 + 有 + NumP” can be used as the predicate component of a sentence, and can also be used as an independent sentence or as a clause in a complex sentence. Its variant forms include “V + 了 + 有 + NumP” with adverb component and “V + 了 + 有 + NumP + (pronoun) + A” with adjective component.

Abstract:
Translation has been long considered to be a verbal conversion practice between different languages. This paper makes a novel observation of what we christen as the “hybridized” text, i.e., a kind of highly mixed text that is produced by creatively integrating English and Chinese and carries a punning effect. We first analyze the uniqueness of this type of “hybridized” text in terms of its meaning generation, and then proceed to elaborate on what challenges and enlightenments it brings to two of the fundamental, ontological issues of translation studies, namely the definition of translation and translatability. Finally, we move on to explore in which sense the postmodernist translation theories offer a theoretical justification for this type of “hybridized” text and how the “hybridized” text, in return, can potentially enrich the contents of the postmodernist translation theories.

Abstract:
Verb-resultative construction (VRC) is not only a unique but a very important syntactic structure in modern Chinese. It has not only been a hot spot in the field of grammar studies, but an important and difficult point that cannot be ignored in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper sorts out the research results on the acquisition of VRC within the framework of Chinese second language acquisition, focusing on three main research methods in the field of VRC acquisition research (error analysis, corpus research, and experimental research). Review the commonly used research methods in recent years and summarize the cognitive features of Chinese second language learners’ acquisition of VRC. Accordingly, personal suggestions are put forward for future research on the acquisition of Chinese verb-resultative construction.

Abstract:
In traditional translation theories, the translation of metaphor has always been confined to the level of rhetoric. Cognitive linguistics has opened a new horizon for the study of the translation of metaphor. It holds that metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but also an important form of human cognition. This undoubtedly opens up a new way for the study of metaphor in translation. In this paper, metaphor is taken as the starting point, and the influence of the combination of cognitive linguistics and translation theory is discussed. From the cognitive perspective, the attempt and specific strategies of metaphor translation are discussed, the important role and significance of metaphor in translation cognition are pointed out, and the basic requirements for good translation from the perspective of cognitive linguistics are illustrated, hoping to be more systematic and scientific.

Abstract:
With the deepening of people’s cognition of metaphor, multimodal metaphor comes into being. Multimodal metaphor is a metaphor based on the symbolic relationship between the meaning of source domain and target domain. It is not only a rhetorical means, but also a cognitive tool. Animated films have distinct characteristics, and its artistic value deserves attention and research. Therefore, based on the conceptual blending theory and qualitative research, the multimodal metaphor in the animated film NE ZHA: I Am the Destiny is analyzed. This paper mainly analyzes the image, sound and language modes of presenting multimodal metaphors, and the corresponding types of conceptual blending network in the films. This study verifies the feasibility of conceptual blending theory in multimodal metaphor analysis. In addition, this paper analyzes the animated film NE ZHA: I Am the Destiny from a new perspective, which has certain theoretical reference value and practical significance.

Abstract:
Telecom network dating scam is one of the high-incidence types of telecom network fraud, fraudsters often disguise themselves in false white-collar workers, executives and other social identities of high class to implement fraud on the grounds of making friends or dating. To prevent such tragedies, it is of great significance to explore in the pragmatic perspective the false identity construction and probe into the cognitive mechanisms beneath the deceived’s recognization of those identities. We collected discoursive data between two fraud sides from a real telecom network dating scam, and under the guidance of the pragmatic identity theory we tried to find the constructed false pragmatic identity types and analysed the corresponding discoursive choice, as well as illustrated the fraudsters’ impression management and the devived’s cognitive processing of false pragmatic identities, based on the concepts of strong and weak communication and dynamic cognitve environment under the relevance theory. The innovation of this study is to explain the identity construction and recognition of false pragmatic identity from the perspectives of both the fraudsters and the deceived. We finally found that the fraudster built salient identity (investment expert), deviated identity (friend) and third-party identities. The deceived tended to agree with the above identities, in the influence of the strong and weak implications deducted from the discoursive practices constructing those identities and the growing mutual manifestation between the cognitive environments of the two sides.

Abstract:
This paper studies the English translation of a short story, The Chess Master by qualitative anal-ysis from the perspective of ideational grammatical metaphor. It focuses on the transformation of process types in the process of transitivity and the transformation of parts of speech in the process of class-shift, so as to obtain the translation strategy of ideational grammatical meta-phor. It is found that the transitivity metaphor in the English translation of The Chess Master is mainly reflected in the transformation of material process and existential process, relationship process and material process. Class-shift is mainly realized by nominalization of adjectives and verbs. On this basis, four translation strategies are summarized: the existential process reduces the degree of refutability of discourse, the material process enhances the degree of logical co-herence and the sense of picture of discourse, the relational process strengthens the characte-ristics of people and things in the discourse, and the nominalization stimulates the comprehen-sion of target language readers.

Abstract:
Natsume Soseki, as an outstanding representative of modern Japanese writers and literature, is also one of the most influential Japanese writers in China, one of his later masterpieces “Kokoro” known as “The highest peak of Soseki literature”. However, most of the studies on Kocoro in China focus on the analysis of the content of the work, and there are few comparative studies on the different versions of Kokoro. The paper aims to analyze the three-dimensional transformation of the major versions of Kokoro from the perspective of eco-translatology. It is pointed out that the success of these translations is the result of the translator’s different degrees of adaptation to the ecological translation environment while exerting the translator’s subjectivity. It is also hoped that this paper will provide a new example for the application of eco-translatology in the translation of Japanese literary works.

Abstract:
As an important cognitive practice of human beings, translation reflects the commonness of dif-ferent language contents and ideas through the conversion between different languages, and the information transmitted can affect and infect readers. Although the effects of different texts on readers are different, it is true that translation activities have aesthetic functions. The author of the article shows the aesthetic function of translation through concrete examples of translation between Russian and Chinese languages.

Abstract:
Cognitive linguistics is the application of cognitive linguistics tools such as figure-ground, image schema and conceptual metaphor to literary analysis. Image schema can be used to explain the different cognitive structures and values of different social groups. Based on image schema theory, this paper takes the English versions of Tang Poetry translated by Xu Yuanchong and Stephen Owen as research material, selecting container schema, path schema and up-down schema to investigate the similarities and differences between the two translated versions and find out the cognitive reasons behind it. It is found that image schema theory has strong guiding and explanatory power in translation studies.
