Abstract:
The importance of herbal medicines in treating various ailments or diseases is phenomenal and cannot be denied due to their safe use and efficacy; Trachyspermum ammi commonly known as ajwain belongs to the family Umbelliferae and a commonly used spice in home cooking. It contains various phytoconstituents which have several pharmacological effects against a number of diseases. The objective of the study is to screen the therapeutic potential such as anti-depressant and anxiolytic activities using aqueous and ethanolic extracts of the plant seeds on laboratory animals. The antidepressant activity was seen by both extracts (p?0.001) in the “forced swim test”. Significant anxiolytic activity (p?0.001) of both extracts of Trachyspermum ammi was observed by “open field test” and “Light and dark activity”. Diazepam and Imipramine were used as standard drugs to evaluate anxiolytic and anti-depressant effects respectively. The comparable results of both extracts of Trachyspermum ammi with the respective standard drugs are suggestive of enhancing GABA receptors for anxiety suppression while inhibiting MAO to exhibiting antidepressant effects. We can conclude through this study that treatment through natural ways opens doors for a new treatment protocol that can benefit us, with the least possibility of facing any adverse effect.

Abstract:
Fifth disease is a viral disease caused by parovirus B19, also called erythema infection. It is commonly present in children and pregnant women it can be transferred from mother to fetus, it caused rashes on skin, legs and neck and it seems like “slapped cheeks” on children face. The risk factor increase when the infected person sneezed, coughed or by their blood products. It may cause severe anemia and the may need blood transfusion. An overview on account systemic reviews on fifth disease a survey is conducted. About 150 persons participated by attending our questionnaire.

Abstract:
Text neck is a syndrome that is described by repetitive stress injury and pain in the neck. It is a health condition that is developed by using a mobile phone or watching any handheld device for a prolonged period of time. It is commonly found in children. The risk factor of developing text neck is abnormally stretching the muscles and tendons of your neck which puts pressure on nerves in your back.

Abstract:
Background: Pharmacists play vital role in health care system; they help to prevent medication errors. At discharge from health care facility 20% to 70% patients have at least one medication discrepancy. Pharmacist has direct impact on reducing readmission in hospitals as well as emergency visits. There is substantial reduction of 67%, 28% and 19% in adverse drug event-related to hospital revisits, (ED) visits and hospital readmissions. Objectives: To determine the Impact of pharmacist led pharmaceutical care on patient medication therapy by comparing PROMPT-QOL between pharmaceutical care (PC) patients and usual care (UC) patients. Also to compare the characteristics of participants between PC and UC groups. Methods: A randomized controlled trial was conducted at tertiary care hospital in Pakistan, Rawalpindi from May to October 2020.A total of 300 patients were randomly allocated into UC (N = 150) and PC (N = 150) groups respectively, the follow up period was one month. Results: Independent Sample t-test results showed that post intervention in pharmaceutical care group had significantly higher mean changes in 8 Domains of PROMP- QOL than in usual care group. The Domains were MDI (Medicine and Disease Information), SME(Satisfaction of Medicine Effectiveness), IMS (Impacts of medicines and Side effects), PIMU (Psychological Impacts of Medication Use), CON (Convenience), AA (Availability and Accessibility), TRHC (Therapeutic Relationships with Health care providers) and OQOL (Overall quality of life) with p-value <0.005.In Demographic characteristics, gender variable is significantly different between two groups (p-value <0.001). The other variables found to be similar in both PC and UC groups. Conclusions: Pharmacist oriented pharmaceutical care could improve patient medication therapy related to quality of life hence there is a need of proper pharmacist counseling room in at least tertiary care hospitals so that patient can better understand medication to improve quality of life. Eight domains of PROMPT-QOL showed significant results and were sufficient to assess humanistic impact of pharmaceutical care.

Abstract:
Wound in medical pathology A wound refers to the loss in normal anatomical structure and functional integrity of the skin which is an outermost layer and first line defense of the body. It can be described by different ways based on its etiology, anatomical location, healing time, and level of contamination. In medical terminology, a wound can be defined as sharp injury that damages the epidermal tissues of the skin resulting in loss of external protective barrier to the underlying tissues making them susceptible to a variety of environmental insults, abrasions, and attack by pathogens [1]. Wounds can be broadly classified as acute if they are new and chronic if they are persistent for more than 8 weeks despite optimal medical treatment. The chronic wounds are basically acute wounds which have not progressed through the orderly well-orchestrated natural wound healing process of haemostasis, inflammation, cell proliferation and tissue re modelling or in other words wounds which have been arrested in inflammatory phase of the wound healing cascade resulting in unmanageable inflammation, continuing infection, and weakened re-epithelization.

ABSTRACT:Objective: The aim of the study was to confirm the interaction of food with metronidazole 400 mg tablet with diverse dissolution medium like milk, oil and gastric fluid to observe the effects of physiological changes in terms of absorbance. Study design: experimental study. Place and duration: Jinnah University for Women, over six monthsMethod: The brand Flagyl (metronidazole) 400 mg were purchased from the local pharmacies of Karachi (Pakistan) for the evaluation of dissolution profile in diverse medium. Results: The outcomes related to this research study are clearly showing that all the results come out within the specified limits of BP/USP which is not less 85 %. The results of one way Anova test between the groups and within the groups showing significant difference i.e. p value < 0.05.Multiple comparisons also performed by Turkey HSD and LSD test of standards with diverse dissolution mediums showing a significant difference between the medium i.e. p value <0.05. Conclusions: We concluded from our study that metronidazole is not contraindicated with milk, oil with gastric fluid.

Abstract:
Abstract The load of antibiotic resistance has been prevailing worldwide which is deteriorating health and human development. Antibiotics also called antimicrobial are the wonder drugs used to act against the microbes. It can be bactericidal or bacteriostatic in action thus acting by either killing or slowing down the activity or growth of bacteria respectively in human body. Abuse of such drugs lead to amalgamation of bacterial cells in the body which makes bacterial cell wall prone to mutations and develop resistance against the drugs. The various lethal adverse effects lead to the clinical conditions challenging healthcare providers.Certain strains secrete enzymes that inactivates the antibiotics and decreases permeability of the cell membrane along with strengthening their efflux pumps. The most concerned organisms of this era are E.faceium, S.aureus, K.pneumoniae, A.baumanii, P.aeruginosa and Enterobacter spp (ESKAPE) recorded by World Health Organization (WHO). Multifaceted interventions are required to mitigate the challenge of antibiotic resistance. Prohibiting the over the counter sale of antibiotics, clinical audits, utilization of valid diagnostic tests can be helpful in precise prescription of drugs. Public awareness about the poisonous use of antibiotics can decrease improper self-medication Clinicians.

Abstract:
Virtually 100 years before α-tocopherol (universally known as a "Vitamin-E") remained revealed. It was essential component to preclude fetal recommencement in expectant. In 1940s, Vitamin E existed recognized as the crucial part that plays in deactivating and extinguishing the free radicals that is present inside the diverse compartments of muscles.
