Abstract:
The problem of mastering learning materials is a teacher's struggle. The selection of the correct method can affect good learning outcomes. However, the learning method does not affect students' mastery of the material. This paper will review the PBL method in the gospel of Matthew 14:21. That is, the reader can see the technique of Jesus in providing a learning process for the disciples. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The writer found that the students were able to identify the problem. The problem the students found was a lack of food. So the solution offered by students is to buy food in the city. However, another problem that arises is the availability of budget and food. However, Jesus asked what they had. There were only five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus showed that even though the potential is minimal, it will achieve the desired goal if maximised. The students are studying in a problematic situation; there is still a way out. After the learning was evaluated, it was found that the students were successful in the learning process.

Abstract:
The Covid-19 pandemic which has occurred for more than a year in Indonesia has directly and indirectly affected the learning process in universities, one of which is the Intheos Surakarta Theological School. This is due to the lack of intensity of face-to-face meetings between students and lecturers which causes a lack of understanding of the material being taught and students' lack of readiness for distance learning. So that lecturers need to habituate independent learning for each student in addition to so that students are trained to develop their ideas and ideas independently and train students to think critically to face tougher future challenges. For this reason, the author uses a qualitative method approach with case studies and literature studies in order to formulate a habituation strategy for independent learning that is applied by lecturers with various sources that are in accordance with the context of the discussion. From this research, it can be concluded that the more effective the lecturer's strategy in habituating the independent learning of students, the more positive it will be for improving learning outcomes in these courses.

Abstract:
Sunday School programs play an important role in promoting the spiritual growth of children. Educating children is a must. Children are God's inheritance to parents. Conducting ministry to children has been started since the Old Testament times as God commanded Moses (Exodus 12:25-27). Today, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced Sunday School teachers to adapt to technology. In the perspective of the cognitive load theory of multimedia-based learning, the media is a central factor determining the successful attainment of learning objectives. Effective media makes learning easy that enables the Sunday School students to process and integrate new information with their prior knowledge. In so doing, the reconstruction of new knowledge during the learning process via multimedia is possibly generated. However, the extent to which Sunday school teachers can make use of technology in the context of Sunday School teaching has not extensively been explored in the pandemic studies. This paper aims to provide a sketch of the implementation of teaching and learning activities carried out by Sunday school teachers at church X during the pandemic. About eight Sunday school teachers are involved as the subjects of this study: one male Sunday school teacher (12%) and seven female Sunday school teachers (88%). This paper finds that Sunday School teachers can adapt to technology. To design an effective teaching media, the teachers minimize extrinsic load to promote effective learning while maintaining appropriate difficulty level of the new topics being presented (intrinsic load).
