Abstract:
Garcinia mangostana L. is a fruit-producing plant and is widely used as an ingredient in traditional medicine. This study aims to explain the relationship between the utilization and bioactivity of G. mangostana. The writing of this article is based on a literature review on scientific articles published online using the keywords G. mangostana, uses of G. mangostana, and bioactivities of G. mangostana. The literature obtained was synthesized so that it could explain the benefits and bioactivity of G. mangostana. Local people in Southeast Asia have been used G. mangostana as a traditional medicine for the treatment of abdominal pain, diarrhea, dysentery, infected wounds, pus, and chronic ulcers. The results showed that G. mangostana has bioactivity as anti-microbial, antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and anti-diabetes Mellitus. The bioactivity of G. mangostana is related to the content of its secondary metabolites. α-mangostin has antibacterial activity. Xanthones are chemical compounds that have pharmacological properties as anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial properties. The bioactivity of G. mangostana as an anti-microbial is the potential to be developed as a natural food coloring agent as well as a natural preservative. Abstract:
This needs analysis aims to determine what teaching materials are needed by teachers on cell material at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang. The population of distributing questionnaires in SMA Negeri 8 Palembang, the sample of the distribution of class XI IPA 7 was 30 students. The instrument used was the teacher's questionnaire sheet totaling 18 questions, 13 student questionnaire sheets complete with lattices from the teacher questionnaire sheets, and student questionnaire sheets on cell material and documentation. Analysis of the needs of the teacher and student questionnaire questions using language validation experts at 83.07%. From the results of the needs analysis at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang in class XI IPA 7 that teachers need teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheets because the teacher has never made an Student Worksheets. The cell material at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang was difficult for students to understand regarding cell organelles, cell functions, and cell differences. The Problem Based Learning Model turns out that the teacher has not used this model in online learning, the teacher only gives assignments to students through the WhatApps group, Google Classroom and does not use Zoom Meeting, so that students do not understand and understand cell material and student learning outcomes still have not reached KKM (Minimum completeness criteria).Kata kunci: Learning outcomes, Student Worksheets, Cell material, Problem Based Learning

Abstract:
Science and Technology in education demand teachers as educators with integrated innovations in technological developments. The media is used to improve understanding of educational game-based material with student characteristics. The research aims to develop and the feasibility of digital educational games on the Plantae SMA class X material. This type of research uses development (R&D). The research model used is ADDIE with five stages: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. . The instrument used a questionnaire and test (Pretest-Postest). The questionnaire assessment data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive test, the pre-test and post-test assessment data were analyzed using the N-Gain test. Based on the results of the game assessment analysis by media experts with a total score of 3.40 (very good), then the assessment by the material expert with a total score of 3.48 (very good), then the assessment by the teacher with a total score of 3.23 (very good), and assessment by students with a total score of 3.38 (very good). The implementation of the game "Adventure Of Plant" shows that there is an increase in the average pretest score of 57 and the average post-test score of 77, with the N-Gain analysis result of 0.47 (moderate). Conclusion: digital education game research on Plantae material is suitable for use as a learning medium, but it has a (moderate) influence on student learning outcomes in understanding the concept of learning.Kata kunci: ADDIE, Game Edukasi Digital, Materi Plantae, Media Pembelajaran.

Abstract:
Pineapple Liquid Waste Fertilizer (LCN) is a biological fertilizer derived from the main ingredient of pineapple liquid waste which is bioremediation with the help of indigenous bacteria in degrading organic matter. This study was to determine and see that LCN indigenous bacteria could not inhibit the growth of soil bacteria or indigenous bacteria could inhibit the growth of soil bacteria. This type of research is qualitative experimental research. the object under study to see whether or not there is a clear zone or zone of inhibition between two intersecting isolates. If there is an isolate it is said to be compatible, it means that there is no inhibition zone in the area where the two isolates meet, and it is said to be incompatible if there is an inhibition zone in the area where the two isolates meet. The isolates used in the antagonistic or competitiveness test were 15 isolates of LCN indigen bacteria and 6 isolates of soil bacteria in the Karang Rejo experimental garden, Metro Utara so that the combinations of challenged and challenged isolates were all 90 bacterial combinations. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is no antagonism between 15 pineapple liquid waste indigen bacteria (LCN) and soil bacteria in the Karang Rejo Metro Utara experimental garden.Kata kunci: Bakteri Tanah, Uji Antagonis, pupuk Limbah Cair Nanas (LCN)

Abstract:
This study aims to produce products in the form of biology learning media from used goods that are valid, practical, and effective for use in learning biology on the digestive system material in class VIII. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) type regarding the ADDIE development model which includes five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP Al-Islam Way Jepara. The research instrument was a validation sheet to obtain product validity data, student response questionnaires to obtain product practicality data, and test questions and student response questionnaires to obtain product effectiveness data. The data obtained with validated instruments were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the validator's assessment, the media developed was in a very valid category with an average value of 3.8. Then, the results of students' responses related to the practicality of the media were in the high category with an average value of student responses of 4.17. Furthermore, based on the results of tests and student response questionnaires, the level of effectiveness of learning media was in the high category with an average score of 85.6, and 90% of students reached a complete scoreKata kunci: media pembelajaran, biologi, barang bekas

Abstract:
This development research aimed to determine the characteristics and feasibility of the science process skills-based biology assessment for class X on the odd semester material. This assessment was prepared using a research development method adapted from McIntire This development research only wants to see the feasibility stage based on an expert review or expert validation including 3 validators, namely linguists, material experts, and evaluation experts using a questionnaire. The data analysis refers to the score range 1–4 with the feasibility interpretation which is very good, good, not good, and very bad. The results of this development research are in the form of a KPS-based biological assessment in the form of multiple-choice questions as many as 50 questions containing material from odd semesters, namely the scope of biology, biodiversity, viruses, bacteria, and protists. The feasibility assessment was carried out by expert lecturers, for material experts obtained an average percentage of 84% with a very valid category, linguists obtained an average percentage of 80% with valid categories, and evaluation experts obtained an average percentage of 95% with very valid categories so that it can be used to measure science process skills in class X students.Kata kunci: asesmen biologi, keterampilan proses sains, pengembangan

Abstract:
The study aimed to determine the feasibility and the response of teachers and students to Articulate storyline media on living creature classification material. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) regarding the Borg and Gall development model which is limited to the seventh stage namely product revision. The data taken is data on the feasibility of validation results by experts and student and teacher response tests. The research instrument used a validation questionnaire and a response questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that the assessment of material experts, media experts, linguists, and IT experts were 66,6%, 85,23%, 96%, and 85,64% respectively. The average assessment by experts was 83,38%. The percentage of the teacher readability test assessment was 91,83% and the percentage of the student readability test results was 92,85%. This value is included in the very feasible criteria. The percentage of teacher response test assessments was 84% and the percentage of student response test assessments was 84,82%. This value is included in the very good criteria. The assessment shows that the media Articulate Storyline in the living creature classification material for class tenth developed is suitable for use as a learning media.Kata kunci: Articulate Storyline, Borg and Gall, Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup, Media Pembelajaran

Abstract:
Assessment of learning outcomes from the cognitive aspect can be seen from the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) values that have been set by schools and nationally. The purpose of this study was to determine the value analysis of biology subjects in the even semester of class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 and SMA Negeri 2 Unggulan Talang Ubi. This research method uses descriptive qualitative to find information and data analysis of student learning outcomes class XI. The research sample consisted of 4 teachers, 136 students of SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi, and 70 students of SMA Negeri 2 Unggulan Talang Ubi. Data collection using triangulation techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used frequency descriptions with the help of SPSS version 22.0. The results of this study obtained the following data: (1) the average score of biology even semester at SMA Negeri 1 Talang Ubi is 75.56, which means that it has reached the school and national KKM. (2) the average score of biology even semester in SMA Negeri 2 Unggulan Talang Ubi has not reached the school and national KKM. These results can be caused by factors: 1) learning methods, 2) the number of meetings (duration of learning), 3) types of questions given by the teacher. Abstract:
The Covid-19 pandemic became an obstacle to social and economic activities, including education and learning especially. In the normal condition, the learning usually carried out classically turns into online in the pandemic era. In other words, the learning must be carried out, even during a pandemic. The research objective was to analyze the profile of learning resources through a learning community based on a virtual collaborative learning model in the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was Research and Development by using the 4D Model Thiagarajan, reinforce in the validation and evaluation based on virtual collaborative learning. This research was conducted in senior high school biology study in the biology education department of teacher training and education faculty of Muhammadiyah Metro University. The subjects of this study were 32 students divided into 13 virtual groups. One group has a role as developer of the learning materials, and another group has the role of validator and evaluator of the learning materials. The research would know the feasibility of a profile of learning materials assessed using virtual collaborative learning. The data collection techniques using a virtual observation sheet. The data collection instrument consisted of guidelines for observing the profile of learning materials. Data analysis was carried out descriptively using the indicators of learning materials. The results of the research show that the learning materials developed have a suitable profile for use. The Average score for the assessment of learning materials was 82,36. All profile indicators are showing good results. Validation and evaluation using virtual collaborative learning effectively assess a learning resource. Through this collaborative learning, the learning community during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out well. Abstract:
This research was conducted at the UPT Health Laboratory of East Nusa Tenggara Province, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City from August to September. This study aimed to determine the reduction in the sugar content of ant sugar in palm sap which is influenced by pH and water content. The samples used were palm sap and sugar from the processing of palm sap. This research uses a descriptive quantitative analysis method. The variables measured were the reduction in sugar levels before and after the inversion as well as pH and water content. Analysis showed that the content of reducing sugars before inversion was 5.18% and the content of reducing sugars after inversion was 10.31%. While the water content of the sap before the inversion was 76.44% and after the inversion was 2.8%, the pH before the inversion was 6 and after the inversion 7. Therefore, it is advisable to continue research to see the effect of microbial and yeast populations on sugar content, reducing palm sap.Kata Kunci: kandungan gula, gula semut, reduksi gula, pH dan kadar air
