تهدف الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على إمكانية الاستفادة من الاعمال النحتية التفاعلية التي تعد للأماكن العامة في تعزيز النشاط البدني للجمهور في المملكة العربية السعودية، استخدم هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتسليط الضوء على دور الأعمال النحتية وطرق التفاعل التي تقدمها للجمهور وعلاقتها بممارستهم للنشاط البدني، وخلصت الدراسة إلى تحديد خصائص الاعمال النحتية التفاعلية المعززة لممارسة النشاط البدني في الأماكن العامة فيما يلي: مناسبة حجم ومساحة العمل لنوع التفاعل المحقق للنشاط البدني، أهمية موقع العمل في المدينة وعلاقته بالفضاء المحيط، تحديد المشاركين في ذات الوقت والعلاقة بينهم لضمان التفاعل الآمن، بالإضافة إلى العلاقة بين المفهوم الجمالي والفكري للعمل بالمجتمع. كما خلصت الدراسة إلى تقديم ثلاث مقترحات فنية لأعمال نحتية تفاعلية يتم تنفيذها في لأماكن العامة في مدينة الرياض تسمح للجمهور بممارسة عدد من التمارين الرياضية عند التفاعل مع وحدات العمل، ما يساهم في تعزيز ممارسة أفراد المجتمع للنشاط البدني، ضمن بيئة حضرية تحوي أعمال فنية تستمد فكرتها الفنية من رمزيات وقيم وثقافة المجتمع.
