Abstract:
The Creative Women Group namely KWK Seroja, which consists of housewives, has great potential to increase product marketing networks, because the business it has been in has been in business for almost 10 years with a relatively productive age. Until now KWK Seroja members have businesses in the fields of convection, food, rental and souvenirs, but still use traditional marketing models such as opening a business at home or marketing it door-to-door. The rapid use of social media such as Facebook can help marketing more efficiently and effectively, due to the extensive network. KWK Seroja needs to be helped through information about the importance of marketing transformation from traditional to social media bases, namely optimized Facebook fans page. KWK Seroja also needs assistance to participate in the UMKM exhibition to strengthen its position in the eyes of the community. The results obtained were good enthusiasm from the members who were able to create a fan page in accordance with their respective products and a willingness to follow the UMKM exhibition once a year. Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic situation is directly affecting both the health and economic sectors, especially in Indonesia. The synergy between university, community, and practitioner is needed as an effort for COVID-19 prevention and to help driving the economical sector in terms of the community service program. Sustainable development goals (SDGs) are the global actions that will be referred to as the community service program. The indicator analysis between global action and the outcomes of the community service program is performed to give further the recommendation related to the globally oriented program on solving a local problem. As a scheme of university tri dharma, SGDs based community service program has been implemented to the COVID-19 affected region, namely, a small business of convection in Wedi, Klaten, and health equipment distribution towards Wonosari hospital (RSUD). Program is evaluated in terms of ethical, social and economical dimension, yet the result intepretation is presented as well. The results of these activities have achieved the collaboration of community service activities with the mission of the SDGs on the implementation of the economy, health, and partnership sectors. Abstract:
One of the important roles in using shipping safety equipment is an effort to prevent or minimize accidents for fishermen. The low awareness and the price of safety equipment that is considered quite expensive make fishermen in Musi Banyuasin regency less caring about the importance of shipping safety equipment. The program was carried out to share knowledge about safety voyage for fisherman Musi Banyuasin regency. It was held to improve skill, attitude, and awareness of fisherman in Musi Banyuasin regency regarding to the importance of safety, life saving technique in accident case. This program was conducted by lectures and discussion method between speaker and participants focusing in safety voyage. The results showed that the participant’s awareness of safety voyage importance and understanding of life saving technique have increased. Abstract:
Warkah is a community organization that focuses on working on social activities and has many assisted residents. To develop the organization, Warkah requires additional efforts to support the organization so that it continues to be more productive. However, this corona pandemic has made an obstacle for the Warkah organization to realize the organization's vision and mission. Therefore, organizational productivity can be increased by following online sales skills. With diverse potentials and based on the socio-economic background, the ability to sell and transact online on marketplace platforms, especially on the Tokopedia, can provide material benefits. In addition, this activity also can facilitate the potential products of the GPA community members and people outside the GPA who want their products to be promoted in a broad scope. The results of the shop building training through the Tokopedia application for members of the Warkah social organization can be concluded that this training is beneficial for the Warkah organization with a high utility rating, namely 82% of participants rated this training as very useful and had high performance, namely 64% for easy understanding of the material, and 100% for the instructor's performance in delivering the material. Abstract:
Community service activities are carried out in Bani Amas Village, Bengkayang District, West Kalimantan with the aim of poor families receiving conditional assistance. Hopeful Family Program with the aim of this community partnership program is to provide training and assistance in the establishment of joint business groups (KUBE) families of beneficiaries of the Hope Family Program. (PKH) in Bengkayang Subdistrict continuously both in terms of the process of making proposals to the operation of KUBE. The phenomenon that occurs from the first time the activities are carried out until the end of the effective six-month mentoring activity, families of beneficiaries of the Hope Family Program (PKH) have not been able to move further to achieve independence as has been envisioned by the Ministry of Social Affairs by fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship through joint business groups (KUBE). The partner of the community partnership program is the formation of 11 (eleven) Joint Business Groups (KUBE) of the Bengkayang District Family Hope Program in Bengkayang Regency to assist in making KUBE assistance proposals ready to be submitted to the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Bengkayang Regency Social Service. The partnership method used is providing training in the form of lectures, tutorials and discussions as well as making business proposals. Abstract:
Marketing is one of the determinant factors on business success, even though there are still many negligent companies and still use conventional systems so that their sales turnover is low. The COVID-19 pandemic also creates problems on sales turnover. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of Batik Berkah Lestari Imogiri are among those affected by the pandemic. This is related to the conventional marketing system that has been implemented up to this time. In addition, government policies related to pandemics also limit life activities. People are no longer free to visit shopping centers, so they need to make transaction media without leaving their homes. The development of internet technology has presented a medium called a website. Its flexibility, convenience, and simplicity make webiste to be widely used. Moreover, the existence of website will be used for Batik Berkah Lestari in marketing its products during the pandemic. This study aims to implement the website as an online transaction medium for Batik Berkah Letasri. Central Java is one of the tourism destinations in Indonesia that offers a variety of amazing tourist attractions. Abstract:
Daycare play an important role in the growth and development of children who are active in it, because its main function is as a place to play and learn for children. It is important that daycare are designed according to the need for child-friendly spaces to create conditions that are comfortable and safe for children. This community service would like to be involved in creating a child-friendly space in one of the daycare, Griya Anak in Surabaya. This activity is carried out in several stages, namely preparation in the form of field observations, planning, namely designing the space used as the main activity in Griya Anak, counseling about child-friendly spaces and discussion of design results, then implementing rearranging and providing furniture needed to support the activities in Griya Anak. The results of this activity include the creation of a main activity space design at Griya Anak that is more comfortable and safer for children, and effective for the flow of activities carried out by the Griya Anak management, as well as the fulfillment of the need for appropriate furniture to support activities at Griya Anak. Abstract:
The partner on Community Devotion (PkM) is a group of farmer Women (KWT) Sejahtera who is engaged in agriculture, located in the hamlet of Dusun Kepuh Kulon Desa Wirokerten is 10.7 km from PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY). The main problem with the partners is the abundance of residual products from KWT Sejahtera, which is a skin that has not been managed and utilized by members and communities to increase family income because there is no assistance on the processing of snacks, local market reach and the design and packaging of the products are still conventional. The purpose of PkM raised the awareness of KWT Sejahtera Dusun Kepuh Kulon Desa Wirokerten in the use of Melinjo skin, providing experience and knowledge of Melinjo skin treatment, the price determination of Melinjo skin and product packaging as well as sales of social media-assisted products. Solutions to address the problems that exist in the partner is by counseling and training methods such as (1) Counseling and skin treatment training Melinjo, (2) Training on product packaging, (3) Product marketing management training by utilizing social media. The results of this PkM are Melinjo skin chips that have been packaged, the promotion of products by utilizing social media as well as articles published on the Journal of Community Devotion. Abstract:
Sidoarjo district is known as one of industrial center processed foods as chips cassava and shrimp crackers by UMKM Berkas Sejahtera. The high demand from the customers can not be covered because of the limitation of technology in production. Through this program is expected to partner businesses can increase the company production capacity, income and job opportunities for the community. Method used in this program is developing of efficient processed food production technology. Activities stages in this program were to identify real needs related production partner operational, designed and manufactured the production of processed foods effective, operational testing machine, evaluation machine, and intitutional strengthening and human resources. The output of this program are the package processing technology chips cassava and prawn crackers consist of cassava chopper, spinner, meat grinder, the hexagonal stirer seasoning, mixer the batter, press crackers,drying machine crackers and packaging machine. The results of the program is improving partner production capacity such that the program can be increasing from 1tons per day into 3 tons per day. So can increase income and job opportunities for the people in surrounding region.
